Summary: this is a great book!!!
Review: Forget what the people who gave it one star say. This is a great book and anyone even considering it should read it. The characters are fully depicted and the action is intense. I felt as if I was watching a movie. You cannot go wrong by reading this book.

Summary: Could it have happened?
Review: Could the mystery of the last day's of Joseph Stalin's life be explained by this thriller?

This is one great read. Certainly there are some historical inaccuracies, but above that, this is a tough one to put down. The characters are fully developed, and it is refreshing to see spies depicted in other than superhuman terms. Some may find this disturbing, but it is, nonetheless, reality.

Overall, a great supposition, and a wonderful thriller. You'll enjoy the ride.

Summary: Intelligent, vivid
Review: A story that makes you think. Characters that make you feel. Opinions will be formed in later conversations based on the plausibility of this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were no valleys, it skipped from peak to peak. Alex Slanski, Anna Khorev, these are names I will remember even after cracking countless other novels. Thanks, Glenn, it was fun.

Summary: Excellent page-turner
Review: A first rate thriller. The plot is complex, has a number of twists and keeps you interested till the end! The characters have depth and this is unusual in most thrillers.

Summary: Unbeliavably stupid characters!
Review: I still gave the book a try... When I read that the CIA hitman had his license registered under his own name, I said 'well, maybe this isn't so big a mistake, I can forgive this.' But then a couple of pages later, there is a scene where a KGB thug beat the crap out of one of the good guys all by himself in an apartment room (which wasn't described as a safehouse or anything like that). By coincidence, the CIA hitman raided the room..

I stopped reading right there and decided not to go beyond that point.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: About a third of the way through, there was a major mistake. The CIA killer was listed in DMV under his real name. I can't write a paragraph, but I have read many thrillers and this mistake turned me away: couldn't finish it.

Summary: GREAT READ!! SUSPENSE, ACTION EVERYTHING FOR A THRILLER
Review: From page one of Snow Wolf I was completely captured by the story. The action and suspense of this novel were non-stop. This being a first novel I am looking forward to more from this author. What an action movie this book would bring to the screen. I don't know how accurate the story line is in relation to actual history but it defintely made a good tale.

Summary: A Thriller That's Different
Review: Some criticize this book as being not too plausible. I think that if you can't suspend your disbelief, then you will not be able to read many thrillers. Certainly Ludlum's plots are not plausible. In any event this is a suspenseful thriller that, to my relief, was not about another psychopathic serial killer or a conspiracy to take over the world. Its more in the mold of the several novels written about attempts to kill Hitler or FDR during WWII. If you like that sort of thing you should really give this book a try.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: great plot, presented in the worst possible way
Review: The plot is great. At the same time novel does not generate the smallest level of credibility necessary to be entertaining: heroes act like stupid zombies and historic background is full of ridiculous projections of 70-s/90-s realities into 1952. Funniest thing is that both USA and USSR are presented with the same ridiculously low quality.
