Review: This has to be the best thriller of all time. Simply wonderful. The characters and the story live with you long after you'ver finished the book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I have also just finished reading The Sands of Sakkara. It has a lot in common with Snow Wolf, I think--and it's another terrific read. Thank you, Mr Meade. You're better than anyone around in the thriller writing business. And far better than Clancy or Forsythe ( Frederick, not Bruce) Keep them coming!

Review: I bought this book recently after reading the abridged version. I was very pleased with it so I decided to buy the full version. This book was an amazing story and a real page turner. If you like CIA, KGB, and secret intelligence story's than this is for you. The only problem I had was that the book would have been just as good without some of the detailed sex scenes. Other than that, this is one of the greatest books I've ever read.

Review: Picked this book up from the bargain table and placed it among the literary giants. I loved this book!! Fast paced, great characters, and tremendous action along with a story that will keep anyone on the edge of their seat. Great surprise ending.

Summary: Engaging, mysterious, facinating Cold War thriller
Review: Four stars does not quite do this book justice. From the beginning the book unravels the story of a secret CIA operation during the height of the Cold War and a son's attempt to discern his father's role in it. The characters are well defined, each possesing traits characteristic of a hidden past, a parrallel to the book's theme. The action is fast and will engross the most passive reader, while historical accuracy combines with vivid imagery to present the action in a setting richly descibed by the author. Read the book while snowed in, you'll want to connect with the setting of Russia in winter and dedicate the time needed to finish this book.

Review: Having reached my vacation destination I found that I had left my reading material behind. Now everyone knows you can't go to the beach without something to read. I made a quick trip to the book store and, upon review , purchased Snow Wolf. I found the story line intriguing and the characters most enjoyable. I must say that I'm surprised by the 1 star rating's giving by some of our reviewest. I would suggest this book, and have , to anyone. Buy and enjoy a wonderful book.

Summary: Meade is superb!
Review: I was entranced by Meade! One of the reasons I enjoyed this book so much, is that it is not writen like every other thriller! Meade varried from the "normal" plot line and writing style of most thrillers from this genre and I think it paid off. It appears to me from reading the reviews posted here that you either love it or hate it...there is no inbetween. If you are looking for a book that follows all of the typical spy novel rules...then SNOW WOLF is not for you. If you are willing to read a different type of intrigue that does not include super-human spies and every cliche imaginable that also requires a deeper mental ability, then this is the book for you!
