Summary: OK, There's story tellin' and then there's tellin' stories
Review: I got hooked on EJD when I read "Milk in My Coffee". EJD prose is the best out of any modern day author that I have ever read BAR NONE!!! I hope that enough people will read his books to propel him to the heights of a Faulkner, King, or a Welty. BTW, as I read this book I couldn't help but wonder how much of the story was autobiographical!! Read it...read it...read it!!!

Summary: LOVED THE BOOK
Review: I have to say that this is like no other love story I ever read. You have to give props to the gentleman who continues to love and support the woman who left him to follow a love of her own---one who happens to be another woman.
Most women who are in search of a "good man", however, will eventually find his persistence hard to swallow (find a woman who is more deserving!); that is certainly how I felt. Nicole, the love of this man's life, I disliked as a character. I found her to be selfish, and self-centered, and certainly undeserving of the love that is showered upon her by both her past boyfriend and current lover.
Ayanna, Nicole's new love, was difficult to like as a character also; I found her to be both angry and spiteful. Overall, I could not fathom why the two of them continued to pursue Nicole as they did...
The storyline was original and extremely interesting. And the way this man writes and describes the lovemaking between all involved is pure poetry.....well done, EJ.

Review: Eric Jerome Dickey has done it again!!! Between Lovers explores one of the oldest fantasies around with a new twist!!!

Review: I've enjoyed EJD's other books, but I LOVED this one! He's really maturing as an author and I applaud his willingness to challenge our deepest beliefs, assumptions and prejudices about monogamy and sexuality to examine the complexities, contradictions and ultimate lessons of LOVE.
The characters were captivating, the emotional and erotic tension was delicious, and the end was both unpredictable and satisfying. You'll either love it or hate it, but you won't forget it.

It will be one hard to put down, and a head scratcher for those who are truly trying to get into the minds of the characters. This is indeed a must-read. Once you start, be prepared to be sitting for a while. This books holds you tight and will not let you go 'til the last word is written. Enjoy!! I found it very exciting and well written.

Review: Between Lovers is not your typical love story. I laughed and cried, sometimes at the same time. I would really recomend this book to anyone who reads. And my favorite part of the book was the end, because it was not as I thought it would be. I was completely surprised.

Review: I have always admired EJD's skill at making the reader feel the emotions of his characters, and BETWEEN LOVERS is by far his best book. The book kept me on edge from start to finish. There was nothing predictable about this book at all. If the feelings EJD writes about in this book are only ones he imagines, he has an incredible imagination. The love scenes described are deeply erotic without appearing pornographic. I would love to see this book made into a movie!

Review: "Between Lovers" is the icing on the cake. This book took me from hating to loving each and every character until the end. It brings to light a different perspective on what "I love you" really means. I was shocked, amazed, and even humbled by the degrees of emotions shared between the characters. This novel is a definite must read. I hope that others will appreciate it as much as I do. I look forward to the many novels that will follow from this talented writer.
