Summary: Maeve Binchy is great in getting deep into personalities
Review: The three friends, each in her unique character, made a remarkable influence on the true meening of friendship. Maeve Binchy has a way of making the personalities come out alive.

Summary: my favorite book of all time
Review: Maeve Binchy has done a wonderful job on this. You feel as if you are a part of the story. It made me cry for both Bennie and Jack. The classic romance.

Summary: Another wonderful "character" novel by Binchy
Review: If you're the kind of reader who likes "plot", don't read this novel. But, if you like really feeling and knowing characters, you gotta read this one. I LOVE Mauve Binchy and the way she develops her characters. I know of no poplar writer today who is better (if you do, please tell me). This is another classic Binchy novel which tells a simple story replete with incredible character development. This is not a fast read, but it is a GREAT read for character lovers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Story
Review: This is one of my favorite books. Maeve brings the reader in and makes you feel as if you've known the characters your whole life. I only wish it had gone on longer. Hopefully there will be a sequel.

Summary: Everywhere I went I was reading this book!!
Review: This book was utterly incredible. Not only did I read it at home, at work, at the park and in the dentist office waiting room, I read it while driving and stopped at stoplights. Yes, it is that good! The characters are expertly developed and the book wonderfully written. I have read nothing but Maeve Binchy for five months and am starting my eighth novel--let's just say I'm on a Maeve Binchy binge!! I will not stop until I have read everything. However, to this point, Circle of Friends tops them all.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: It was pretty lousy
Review: This book was kind of boring. It dragged on and on. I couldn't wait to get to the end, but when I did I wished I'd never read it. The ending is pretty lame. I don't suggest it to anyone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Classic Love Story!!
Review: Awkward good-hearted girl falls for handsome yet gentle young man. This is an age old story, yet Binchy handles it beautifully. The premise may be recycled, but no one has ever placed such an emphasis on characters. You love them, you hate them. This Irish story is full of surprises and yet it comforts the reader and fills your heart with a yearn for a simpler, romatic time!
