Rating: Summary: I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! Review: This book got my attention from the start and never let up! Sidney Shedon is one of my favorite authors. Although I enjoyed "Master of the Game" better"Nothing Lasts Forever" was a good story. One of the first novels I ever read was "The Other Side of Midnight," and I've been a fan of this authors ever since.

Rating: Summary: Sheldon's best... Review: When you first watch the mini series of "Nothing Lasts Forever" you think that television series' are nice but nothing more than that . But when you read the book your suddenly enter the wonderful world of Sheldon. Rating: Summary: Romance, hospital decisions, and suspense Review: This book is definitely a page-turner. It kept me on the edge of my seat page after page, chapter after chapter. Sheldon combines steamy love scenes with fast paced hospital life. The story centers around three young female doctors, their hardships and their lives. Strongly recommended!!
Rating: Summary: Capturing from the beginning to the end.. Review: Normally this is not my type of book, but as I started to read it I could not put it down. It takes back in time to where life begins. . Meeting new people, and the excitement of who may be your room mates. Living in a large city and working in a hospital where there is activity and long hours with no end. Paige is studying to be a doctor. While motivated from the start she slowly meets intimitation. . As in real life the unexpected seems to interfere with her dream and she begins to have doubts about her becoming a doctor. Her new friends and colleagues are for her, but negative criticism from her professor causes her have second thoughts on the profession she chose. Some are in this profession for money and and fame, where others are in for humanity. But things change for one of her room mates because of romance, love, obligation, selfishsness, and greed. Greed leads to murder and to the innocent justice isn't served as it should be. However, in the end justice is served, dreams come true, and life goes on with love and happiness. You may relate to this novel as to your own dreams and profession . I enjoyed this book, and recommend it to anyone with a dream for a future. We can make plans and follow our dreams and with not knowing our fate in life, things may change for reasons God only knows.
Rating: Summary: one of the best ever novels of sidney sheldon Review: sydney sheldon is my all time favourite novelist. i think this is one of his best novel. it depicts the real happenings of doctors in america.perfectly dramatized as if i m the character of it.very well named title 'nothing lasts forever'.it bounded me from the very first page. a 'must to read' for everyone.
Rating: Summary: there is better alternative reading than this Review: having been a sidney sheldon fan in my earlier years (i.e., high school), especially "if tomorrow comes", "rage of angels", and "master of the game", i was sadly disappointed during and after the reading of "nothing lasts forever". at first i thought it might be because i'm a law student now and more sophisticated about the legal profession, thus thinking his depiction of the law was laughable. but now i realize that compared to his earlier works, his recent pieces are indeed not what they used to be. for more realistic and engaging legal fictions, i now turn to the likes of john grisham. and for more human and relatable pieces, i turn to amy tan or susan isaacs. as it is, i remain an avid fan of his earlier books, but i will not be reading any more of his recent works unless the quality of his characters and the substance of his stories improve drastically. i'm sorry i wasted my time on this one and am thankful that i only ! bought the paperback instead of the hardcover edition...
