Summary: Once again Sindey Sheldon does it again!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I bought this book from a thrift store a little while ago and I tell you that I really enjoyed it. Just when you think you can guess what the ending will be it's not what you think. I tryed so many times to figure the ending out and when I got to the end I was REALLY SUPRISED HOW IT ACTUALLY TURN OUT. I you like a book where it drops off and picks up again please, please read this one.

Summary: What are these reviewers thinking?
Review: I have this compulsion. Once I start a book I can't stop reading it because no matter how bad it is, I figure it will get better, it has to. And since this book supposedly had a suprise ending, I read the whole thing. A waste of time, and this is why:

1. There is no character development. I really didn't care what happened to any of the 3 main characters. The Honey character could've been written out and it would've made no difference. Also, there was a new character introduced like every 3 pages. Keeping names straight would have been difficult if they would have reappeared or had some significance later. But they didn't.

2. The suprise ending isn't really a suprise. You might not guess what will happen but it is so stupid that it doesn't matter anyway. I saw it coming a hundred pages away.

3. The things that happen in court are so ridiculous. Even the worst lawyer would have done better than Paige's attorney. And the events that take place are so absurd they board on fantasy. I don't need an actual reflection of reality but we aren't talking unicorns here.

I do commend Sheldon's expose on sexism in the medical field. However, there are mixed messages, i.e. when one girl loses her virginity at age 16 she thinks "now i am a woman". I certainly hope my 14 year old cousin doesn't hear things like that. Sex doesn't make you a woman. In sum, I was very disappointed. I never read a Sheldon book before and I certainly won't read one again. I don't think his style is creative, the plot and characters were lacking, and nothing kept me turning the pages but my own obsessive compulsion book reading disorder. I vow now that after a good faith effort (100 pages), if I don't like the book, I will put it down.

Summary: Now this is a great book. . . .
Review: There honestly isn't much to say regarding Nothing Lasts Forever. Just like every other Sidney Sheldon book I have read, this one kept me reading to the exclusion of all other activities until I was finished it. The book itself is flawless, but I understand how some feel that it isn't as good as some of his previous books. Although not my favorite of all Sheldon's works, I enjoyed it nonetheless. Enough said.

Summary: FASCINATING.
Review: Mr. Sheldon takes us on an insightful trip through the daily lives of three woman doctors which fate brings together. Slow at first, yet expertly woven and masterfully told.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: HIS BEST BOOK!!
Review: I have read all of Sheldon's books and Nothing Lasts Forever is still my favorite. If you like strong female characters--you'll like this book. Rage of Angels was the first book I read of his and I was hooked!! If you like this book you'll like Patricia Cornwell books too!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of his best !
Review: Sidney Sheldon has always been my favourite author of all time. From his first novel, The Naked Face to Morning, Noon & Night,I find all of his stories to be interesting and full of suspense.

Nothing Lasts Forever proves to be another suspense, thriller like fiction with a twist of love and friendship. The story line are nicely done with the backdrop sets in a hospital.

Boy, it is rather hard for Sidney to actually learn all those medical terms before doing this great work of his!

Don't worry too much if you are a new reader of Sidney because this novel has less subplots that his previous works.

All in all, this novel is very interesting and full of suspense. It will try to captivate your mind as a reader and this story will always be inside you forever!

Nothing to do this weekend? Try reading this novel, it will be fun!

Summary: The Best of Sheldon
Review: I just love this this book, and I must say that this is Sheldon's best work ever--not that he's ever had any bad books, none that I've read anyway.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of my favorite books I've ever read!
Review: If you're looking for a Dickens, write an anylitical essay afterwards type book, this isn't it. But for great read, and entertainment this is the book to read. If you like this book I would definitely reccomend Rebbeca by DuMaurier!

Summary: Nothing Lasts Forever
Review: What amazes me about "Nothing Lasts Forever" is the incredible number of hackneyed and overdone literary conventions that Sheldon manages to cram into one book. From banal conversation to trite plot twists, this book has it all. Fortunately, as the title implies, at least this book doesn't "last forever". It just seems as if it does.
