Review: What a wonderful collection of stories! Each one is charmingly introduced by Whootie Owl, who is a child herself and so appeals to the listeners. Then they are drawn into the story world by the dramatic storytellers and the mood-enhancing music. There is also a catchy theme song that is sung at the beginning of the tape and is heard in the middle and at the end, to unify all the stories, which have to do with "Facing Adversity." This tape was our 7-year-old's Tape of Choice for all of our extended car trips this summer, which was just fine with us. As Whootie puts it, these stories are "a hoot!"
