Review: Rusty-James and Steve meets up in a beach and talk about old times. Rusty and Steve were in a gang together when they were younger. This book mostly takes place in the past. Rusty didn't realize how much troble he got into until he met Steve again. I didn't like the book because it starts of slowly. I like the book because after the slow part it picks up very quickly. I couldn't put the book down. Any midle school or high school student shoulld read this book because it tells you the prombles of bad teens. Teachers could read this bokk to the kids and to themselves because it will remind you of the times when you were a kid.

Review: I bought this book yesterday in a used bookstore. I read the entire thing today. It's as exciting as The Outsiders. I can't wait until my children are old enough to read this true to life story of a young boy growing up alone, depending on himself and his tough guy image.

Review: It's one of those books I recieved from someone and has been lying on my bookshelf for maybe a year, so i decided to read it. The book was easy to follow and had reasonable content. Could have been better in the climax, and the ending factors.

Review: Rumble Fish is a great book just like all of S.E. Hinton's books. I still don't understand the back cover but still a pretty good book. This is one of Hinton's shortest young adult book. I recommend it to teens. Also recomended: The Outsiders, Tex, That was then this is now

Rusty-James a ruff and tumble fourteen year old thrives in his environment of streetfights and parental neglect. He envies his older brother, the motorcycle boy because everyone fears and respects him. Rusty-James goal in life is to be just like motorcycle boy by gaining the same level fear and respect from his friends and others in his town. He tries to represent this tuff imagine in the most juvenile ways, but with motorcycle boy out of the picture Rusty-James life changes forever.

Review: S E HINTON was the guy who wrote the book Rumble Fish. Rumble fish is a good book and an exciting one aswell as just good. the book is about a guy called James, he always get into fights with other kids and wastes them. this book is filled with action and violence which is cool. I like the book especially the fighting parts and humour, it is cool. If you want to know more, just read the book and find out yourself.

Review: I really enjoyed this book its about a boy named Rusty James, hes not really that smart in school, but he does good job being the tough guy on the street. Though he is tough he doesn't know much about life. His brother on the other hand, who is somewhat crazy, knows much about life. It is only a matter of time before something happens that will change Rusty's life forever. This book was excellenct if i could give it 100 stars i would. GREAT BOOK READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I love this book because it is so entreging to read! I live in a preppy town and reading all his bad boy books...! If you are interested in a couple of books with a really good leason and a GREAT read..read S E HINTON's Rumble Fish, the Outsiders, that was then this is now, tex etc...i read them all in a week this summer! they're the best books i've ever read.i wish she'd write more!

Summary: Worst Book Ever
Review: I had to read this book for school. I read a lot- I'm never without a book in my hand. I enjoy all kinds of genres too. But I am never ever going to read this book again. The plot was was to simple, and stupid too. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I read Taming the Star Runner, and I was disapointed by this- Hinton did not do well. The ending was not a surprise at all. After I write my report, I'm putting it in the garage, so I won't ever have to see it again. Do yourself a favor and just don't read this book- save yourself the time.
