Rating: Summary: Worst Book Ever Written Review: Discussions in this book about other religions are absolutely false to say the least. Many facts are simply wrong, the least of which is the discussion about the rituals of Hinduism.Anyone who reads any of Franklin Graham's books must not take a single word of the discussion of other religions seriously, for his books are filled from cover to cover with blatant and gratuitous religious intolerance. Instead of this book, I recommend reading Voltaire's Treatise on Tolerance, ISBN: 0521649692
Rating: Summary: Not really a rebel, but definitely has a cause Review: Franklin Graham has truly emerged from his father's spotlight to find his own place in the world. Although his "rebel" background is a little over-stated, he definitely does an about-face when he finally gives his life over to Christ. After his life-changing commitment, he describes his ongoing involvement with Samaritan's Purse, a worldwide christian relief agency. I was inspired by his biography and his "God-room" principle, in which he prayerfully trusts God to deliver, on faith alone. I would highly recommend this book to anyone unsure of their faith or life's path. Franklin's life story will show that there is hope for anyone through God's grace.

Rating: Summary: Rebel with a cause is cause for praise Review: Franklin Graham uses the story of his life to help us all to see how God shows each person what he wants them to do with their life. As the son of a Minister I found the book very uplifting. I would highly recommed that any other "PK" read this one for sure!

Rating: Summary: A Very Good Autobiography Review: Franklin Graham, son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, had written this autobiography from his beginnings as a "rebel" to a President of Samaritan's Purse. It also leads its readers the twists and turns that Franklin had endured to where he is today. This is a very interesting and inspiring autobiography that one shouldn't miss to read.

Rating: Summary: inspired me to read and learn more about Mr. Graham Review: I have a question that I would like to have answered, but Iam not sure where to ask! So I wiil just put it here. In one of the chapters of the book it states that the Hindus' scarfice animals and throw the blood on the people as they are wathcing and cheering. I was taught that the Hindus' must pratice good karma, and that inculdes being kind to all creations there are no scarficing of animals allowed. Also, what is meant by the priest? The Hindus'have no priest to look at as a pastor or reverned. Although I don't believe in waht they practice, I do feel that this paragraph is not really what happens in the Hindu religion.
Rating: Summary: Encouraging and Enlightening Review: I read this book on the plane going to my son's graduation. I immediately handed him the book and said "this one you will love and encourage you to continue your work with those in need.". I intend to purchase additional copies to give to young men and fathers. This book is an encouragement to all parents who have prayed for their children and have questioned themselves as their children have gone through months and years of rebellion. It also shows that the Lord uses these Children of Rebellion and their strong committments and uses it to perform His Work in His World. I strongly recommend this book to anyone with adventure in his soul and has a passion to walk as Jesus walked and His love for a hurting world.
Rating: Summary: An amazing journey without special consideration! Review: The most extraordinary thing about this book is that you'll see clearly that Franklin did not get where he is because of who his father (Billy Graham) is. You will be intrigued by how his life took the twists and turns it did. His journey will fascinate you. His landing will assure you. There is only one reason possible that he ended up where he has. A great read. A great gift.
