Rating: Summary: Incredible...Hat's off to Mr. Sanders, a must read! Review: A complete explaination of what MUST have happened! Peter Salinger WAS correct! and Mr. Sanders putsthe pieces together for us.
The government spinmasters are hard at work! When faced with exposure they attack the source of information with comments like: missle?,you think it may have been a missle! Are you a UFO nut too?!, implying that only an idiot would take these facts and come to that conclusion. Look at Roswell or of late Phoenix, Arizona. We are told that what we are seeing is realy nothing, so go back to sleep! I am sadly reminded of the careless comment, "what IS TRUTH", attributed to yet another "pragmatic" government leader, almost 2,000 years ago-Pilate, the Roman Governor, to a Jewish Rabbi and carpenter.... He washed his hands of the matter. This was only one man... Now there are only 238! People will forget...or will they?
Rating: Summary: Nonsense, complete and utter nonsense Review: A former car crash investigator for a small town police department reviews a few documents smuggled out of the official investigation and listens to far too many "what ifs" from an aide to New York congressman Michael Forbes. This leads James Sanders to conclude he's discovered what all the experts have missed. Please! Missile theorists like Sanders are engaged in a cover-up of their own. By casting doubt on the very real problem that this crash brought to light, they work against those who would make flying safer. Its a crime.
Rating: Summary: Is the Unthinkable True? Review: Although I am convinced that a missile brought down TWA Flight 800 and James Sanders supplies considerable corroborating evidence, I feel he could have made his case even stronger. He speaks of the 34 witnesses who saw the missile, but only identifies about half of them. He avoids any discussion of a motive (it is my understanding that he explores that topic in his later book) and attributes the strike either to friendly fire or an intentional malice. The theory of negligence seems to stretch the boundaries of reality. If a naval ship had mistakenly launched the missile, it could not possibly have been kept secret. Literally hundred of sailors would have known about it, and somebody would have blabbed. The prospect that such a large quantity of people could have kept a secret would shame the most gullible conspiratorial devotees. If a missile did, indeed, cause the death of all the innocent passengers and crew members, it had to have been a deliberate assault perpetuated by the highest echelons of a very corrupt government. Sanders' data (including a photo of the missile in flight) lends credence to this suggestion that until recently would have seem to unfathomable to even warrant discussion, but I believe that his argument could have been more persuasively expounded.

Rating: Summary: Mispackaged Standard Heatseeker Training Round Prototype Review: An earlier review: Repleat with technical inconsistencies, March 4, 1998 Reviewer: A reader from United States Mr. Sanders is unaware that Standard Missiles used in conjunction with AEGIS Weapon Systems must maintain communications with the AN/SPY-1 radar system or they will self destruct. Additionally, they must detect reflected illumination that can only be provided by the firing platform during terminal homing in order to intercept the target. --This text refers to the Audio Cassette edition. The heatseeker prototype Standard was not meant to even have had a motor (blue can). As a result there were no safety precautions. The mishap occurred warming up the system long before the simulated testing was to have started. No live firings were scheduled. Had he been any closer on precisely nailing the CEC Test, the coverup wouldn't change. His book makes us fear our government more than any other recent event.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book! Review: An incredibly refreshing book in which the truth resounds!! My hat is off to Mr. Sanders!! An excellent investigator and an excellent writer!
Where is our News media when we need them? Thank heavens there was a publisher willing to publish this book.
Rating: Summary: the truth hurts Review: Finally some truth! I thought I would never hear the end of all the crazy theories on how that plane went down. Everything I read in this book makes sense. The author should be commended.

Rating: Summary: Another government cover-up Review: For all you conspiracy theorists out there, this book is for you. James Sanders does a great job researching the material for this book and his arguments are clear and to the point. Its scary to think the government could actually cover-up anything like this, but if you remember the news conferences the government gave they changed their story at least four times. For example, the military confirmed there were missile tests in the area then this story was changed to avoid criticism. Also, there were around 200 witnesses that saw a streaking light going towards the plane before it exploded. The government gave many reasons for this, with the best being electrical currents from power lines, and even tried to discredit all the witnesses. Sanders talks about this and many other examples that readers will find both fascinating and scary at the same time.
Rating: Summary: It's a shocking example of first amendment violation! Review: For it's literary content, the book is as exciting as any cliffhanger. I stayed up all night. Many of his conclusions have proven true over the last few years, and some have contradictory evidence but, the most amazing events are the violation of free press which our government commited. Whether his theory is correct or not the main message is, "Don't you citizens DARE try to investigate the US Navy!"
