Review: This is a fine collection of poems which are rich in a meditative, ecological consciousness and conscience. These poems are not preachments. They are not tirades. Instead, the voice in these poems is a voice inside ourselves, a voice of imagination for which "time and distance avails not", yet, because we, and all with us, must live in our own nest, time and distance and the actions we take-whether careful or careless-also avails a great deal. There is a romance and a tragedy here-and a hope. These poems are worth reading, pondering, meditating.
