Summary: Immortal : A Buffy the Vampire Slayer Novel
Review: This was a great book. It was kept me reading for more, and I never wanted to put it down. I was very impressed at how the writers could make the characters come alive. For any Buffy fan, this is a must read!

Summary: Excellent slayage :)=
Review: If you are at all interested in reading Buffy books, this is the one! The authors have the characters of Buffy down perfectly. I swear it was like I was watching the show. There were so many things that I liked about this book...where to start...I liked how Buffy felt alone...she was reminded that Angel would live forever, when she wouldn't. There were so many depths to this book, that it was very interesting to read. I also liked how we were able to read about two other slayers and how Buffy and the Scooby gang defeated the three-who-are-one. I highly suggest that you read this books. *S*

Summary: Immortal Buffy from The Bookdragon Review
Review: Buffy, in all her occasionally brainy, perpetually kick-.... attitude, faces her most deceptive opponent with the ever-present help of Giles, her Watcher, Xander, Cordelia, Willow, Oz and Angel, a vampire with a soul. Immortal takes place after Buffy returns to Sunnydale and is forced to face the fact that she and Angel will never be a couple. They can't even say "I love you" without Angel losing his soul again, although the authors do slip at one point and Angel retains his soul. While Buffy deals with her troubled love life, her mother keeps secrets about her own health which emphasize the shortness of life to the present Slayer. Veronique, a new threat in town, displays the ability to jump from body to body while trying to raise the Triumvirate, an evil which will bring about the destruction of life on Earth. She has been promised the honor of drinking the blood of the last man, and no perky blonde Slayer is going to stop her. Fans of Buffy will adore her latest adventure, and the people in charge of the Old English Dictionary will find a host of new terms to include in the next edition. See you in "geeker heaven"!

Summary: A must for Buffy novel fans
Review: Golden and Holder prove themselves once again to be the masters of the Buffy books. "Immortal" brings the unique spin with vampire mythology by showcasing a vampire who is truly immortal (as opposed to the immortal type that can be dusted with a stake and that's it) as Buffy's latest foe. With the story well backed up with a mythology explanation and the dead-on characterizations, this book is almost like reading an episode of the show. Recommended.

Summary: Good but some problems
Review: Golden and Holder show once again that they have a great grasp of the Buffy characters and how they relate to one another. The bad vamps in this story are little to drawn out and vague, and plus Holder and Golden trademark flashback chapters tend to get in the way of the flow of the book. But they do keep it fun and it stays in the spirit of the show.

Summary: WOW!
Review: This book was amazing. The series is the best thing I have ever seen on tv so naturally when i saw this i bought it and i was amzed by the writers creativity in using so many things which made me feel exactly like i was living the story. The dialogue was sharp and funny just like the tv programme and the demons Triumvirate were terrifying. Veronique was a real cow! I was crying in the bits were Buffy worried about her mother. This would make a great movie. Congratulations to everyone who made this great book possible. Isn't it a shame that barely any of the other buffy books come up to this standard.

Summary: A must for Buffy fans
Review: I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. I could just imagine every motion. This would be a great movie. I really liked the vilan, Veronique, and loved the writting. It was easy to follow and kept u coming back for more. Too bad I paid double in canada...

Summary: I hope the rest will be as good as this one
Review: The book was a birthday present, and I didn't expect it to be as much fun as it has been. I already love the series on TV (and the Angelseries too of course), but now I also HAVE to buy all the books. I really love the way it's been writen. It's like watching TV. The storie is good and the characters really come to live. It's even better then on TV because in the book you get to see more of the vampires point of view. They are even more evil than you think.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best Buffy novels.
Review: As a fan of the TV show, I found that the characterizations in this novel were dead-on. Golden and Holder were great as usual, the plot was exciting, the villian was cool. This would have made a pretty neat episode, except it would have been too long. Anyway, I reccomend Immortal to all Buffy fans.

Summary: Buffy The Vampire Slayer - "Immortal"
Review: Golden and Holder have long been the most talked-about, most respected, and let's face it: the best Buffy-authors around. This book let's them shine again and show everyone how they got that reputation. This is easily the greatest Buffy novel since the Gatekeeper Trilogy, and Veronique is such a great villain that you end the book just WISHING that they'd incorporate her into the show. The flashback interludes are well-written and the characters are all written true enough that you'd think Joss Whedon himself wrote it. All in all, a great book, one that any Buffy fan should enjoy.
