Summary: I'd read this again
Review: At first when my teacher started reading "The Egypt Game", I thought it was going to be boring. Then when we got to the middle, the "game" made it interesting. My favorite part of the book was where the girls wrote to the statue, and it supposedly wrote back. I thought the ending was very interesting and suprising. I would keep this book and read it again!

Summary: The Best Book Ever Read
Review: The Egypt Game is the best book I have ever read. I love the way it is written. It starts off boring but once you start reading you won't want to stop. I like the way it ended. I will just say that at the end the characters got what they deserved.

Summary: Misterious
Review: When I first started the book it was pretty boring. The book is about these children who make up a pretend game were each child is an Egyption. They play in a fenced off yard attached to an antiquce shop. Alot of other neat things happen so I won't spoil it for you. If you like mysterious fiction then you'll like this book.

Summary: COULDN'T PUT DOWN
Review: I FIRST THOUGHT THIS BOOK WOULD NOT BE VERY GOOD BECAUSE ALL THEY DID WAS TALK ABOUT A ROBBERY. THIS STORY IS ABOUT A GROUP OF KIDS WHO MAKE UP A GAME IN A BACKYARD. THEY MAKE THE GAME UP AS THEY GO ALONG . IT'S VERY INTERESTING. MY FAVORITE PART IS THAT I DON'T HAVE ONE BECAUSE I LIKE THE WHOLE THING. I LIKED THE ENDING BECAUSE IT EXPLAINS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE KIDS AND THE GAME.

Review: This book was wonderful! Even though it takes place in America it was great. It is about a group of young children who make there own city and country in the back yard of a antique store. I loved it. They call there secret place Egypt. They base all there gods and games off ancient Egypt. I cant wait to read the sequel The Gypsy Game.

Summary: A new world!
Review: I remember liking this book when I was a kid, and so I decided to read it again recently. Now I remember why I liked it so much. The imagination displayed by the children in this book is great! Such wonderful ideas! The plot is strong enough on it's own and is greatly complemented by all of the details that the children think up for their Egypt. The issues touched upon are important, and stand the test of time. The end is a bit scary, I think, for youngsters, but overall this book is a great read!
