Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: The Egypt Game was a fantastic and wonderous book.I like this book because the author kept you on the edge of your seat. Also I think a lot of kids play imaginary games that they don't want their parents to find out about. My favorite part was the ending because the Professor was my favorite character and his name was cleared and he turned out to be nice. He is my favorite character because everybody thought he killed the little girl but April knew he was innocent. I think anybody who likes adventure or mystery would like this book.

Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: I didn't really like the book. There was only one exciting part in the book, and it was at the end. If you want to learn about Egypt, this book is not for you. It only has the names of a couple gods, not that much on Anicent Egypt. I did like the author. Look for more of her books because, the author is very descriptive. I wouldn't reccomend this book, only because the book is boring.

Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: I didn't like The Egypt Game. It was boring. It only had three good chapters at the end. The author did a bad job of explaining the book. I thought that it would explain things about Egypt in an interesting way, but it didn't.

Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: The Egypt Game started off very confusing. The characters are April, a girl from Hollywood, Melanie, a girl who lives in the Casa Rosada, her brother Marshall, Elizabeth, moves to the Casa Rosada, Toby and Ken, they join the Egypt gang later in the book. The Egypt Gang is a bunch of kids that play a game in a courtyard. They pretend that it is Egypt and they are priest, pharaohs, merchants, gods, and other things from Egypt.
The book was pretty boring. The last couple of chapters were pretty good and interesting.

Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: I didn't like this book because the beginning was boring. Only the last 4 chapters were exciting. The beginning only had facts about the characters. I don't think this book deserved a Newberry Award. I don't reccomend this book to anyone who likes great excitement throughtout the book.

Summary: The Egypt Game
Review: I'm writing a review about a particular book. This book is called The Egypt Game. It is writen by Zilpha Keatley Snyder. The Egypt Game consists of 23 chapters. It also includes 215 pages.
In the beginning of the story there was a girl named April Hall who moved in with her grandma called Caroline.
One day April was told to go downstairs to the Ross's family to eat lunch. After lunch they went into Melanie's room, and played with paper dolls after opening a book, and all of the dolls fall out. April had a very interesting imagination. So a walk to the library could be an excavation of an ancient world.
After a few days they realized that they both loved anything to do with Egypt, and that's when they stumbled upon a piece of land which belonged to the professor. The professor was a person who owned a store in which he lived in. This store was called the A-Z. Know one really knew what the A-Z stood for, but some people believe it meant merchandise from A to Z.
Marshall, Melanie's brother, Melanie, and April went into the yard which is now known as Egypt. Melanie and April read every thing there was to read about Egypt in the library.
These three members became four after the moving in of Elizabeth. After few days of walking her to school she said she would meet them by the door, and when Melanie and April met her by the door they saw that she looked exactly like Nefertiti. They let her join the Egypt Game.
Weeks before Halloween they all made Egypt costumes for Egypt, and said that it was their Halloween costume.
They herd there was a murderer in town, and there was no way they could go to Egypt for a while.
When Halloween came a few parents volunteered to go with the children for trick or treating. Melanie, Marshall, April, and Elizabeth decided to break from the big group and go to Egypt for a while, so they dropped to the back to get away. Many of the people who gave the candy wanted to get their picture. This made them stay way behind until they couldn't see the group any more. Then they went to Egypt. After a while in Egypt Ken and Toby climbed over the fence into Egypt and ended up joining the Egypt Game.
One day April lost her math book in Egypt, and went back for it at night when she was babysitting Marshall. When they were leaving, April got grabbed by the murderer and the professor yelled for HELP!!!
I would give this book a rating of 3 out of 5, but I would recommend this book to you if you are interested in Egypt.

Review: If you like books about adventure and suspense, you should read this book. It starts out with a girl named April Hall who moves in the Casa Rosada with her grandmother. She meets this girl named Melanie Ross. They have almost nothing in common except for the fact they both like to learn about Egypt. So they decide to make up a game called The Egypt Game. I recommend this book to kids and adults of all ages. This is a great book.

Summary: Kids after my own heart...
Review: I am 40 years old, an Egyptology fan, and a teacher of college English--and I *loved* this book! I spotted it on the fiction shelf in our campus bookstore and thought "this looks interesting". I ended up reading the whole book sitting on the floor! It's a great story; I couldn't put it down, and the two girls reminded me so much of myself at that age. I used to play much the same way--and that's what I'd like to recommend about this book. It gives you an insight into how children who create their own world think, and shows that the universe of their imagination can be more "real" to them than the real world of elementary school. Parents, read this. It's important--especially if you have gifted, imaginative, "dreamer" children.

The three of them start a game about Egypt in a storage yard that belongs to an old man called the professor. As time goes on, three more members join the Egypt Game, but it remains a secret to every one else. I would recommend this book if you like learn about Egypt.
