Summary: Dangerous
Review: Allan Folsoms story is dangerous, because
- despite the hair-rising story with many factual mistakes you can't put it down, losing yourself in the many ramifications of the plot,
- even a fiction like that must not give rise to a Nazi-comeback phantasy. From a German point of view it is unbearable, that Germany - after more than 50 years - is still considered to be capable of committing such a crime against mankind.

Summary: If you only read one book in a lifetime - read this one
Review: This book was read in just a few days and I have to say that I eagerly await a second book. To sum it up I often enquire at bookshops where his second novel is after reading that he "is currenlty working on his second" on the fly sheet. If you only read one book in a lifetleme read this one. Does anyone know if there has been a second book ?

Summary: Out of the thousands of books I've read...one of the top 10
Review: Unfortunately I read the reviews here before I read the book and many reviewers gave away the ending (Thanks for nothin') Still, this is one of the greatest books I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone I know who hates to read. One friend who had never finished a book in his life was done in only a week and he Loved It!!! If you just want to get out of your life for a while..check this one out!!!

Summary: Didn't it take only an hour to read?
Review: This was the first book I read in English from cover to cover after I learned to speak the language. The writing was so smooth and the story so gripping, I couldn't put it down. I'm looking for more novels of this caliber.

Summary: Literary equivalent of a world-class rollercoaster.
Review: Wow! What a dynamite story! Fast paced, well-integrated subplots, satisfying throughout except for the events leading to the conclusion (due to their obviously contrived, "haven't we seen this somewhere before"-like quality). Still, it should make a fine movie; what's taking so long to get it made? By the way, shame on the fellow--whose review appears earlier in this column--who divulged a major plot device!

Summary: Day After Tomorrow is one of the best
Review: A wonderful spinning plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Surprising twists and inter-twined characters get you so involved that you could not put it down if you tried. The whole book is not solved until the very last line. Superbly written and incredibly entertaining.

Summary: A melodramatically compulsive and entertaining read
Review: This book was a veritable rollercoaster ride through some of the most breathtaking locations in Europe. From the very first paragraph it commanded my full attention. The narrative style captured me with its engrossing twists and turns and I found myself embracing the plight of the lead characters. Whilst admittedly I guessed the exact nature of the conclusion about half way through the novel, the path which unfolded to lead me there was a convoluted and enthralling one. In an unwitting way it was almost like some of the rare "inverted" mystery stories of old, where the solution was revealed early in the course of the narrative. The suspense lies not in the ending itself, rather in HOW the author chooses to unravel his story and approach that ending.

Despite some glaring scientific errors, this is a triumphant narrative. I eagerly await Mr. Folsom's next novel.............................

Summary: You won't want to put this one down!
Review: There are very few books I have read in my life that truly fall into the category of: "Couldn't put it down." This book was one of them. (and I am not a big suspense fan - I hated Silence of the Lambs!) Is the writing on the level of Dickens? Probably not. Is this going to be read on college campuses? Doubtful. But so what! This is great entertainment. More has happened after the first two pages than happens in an entire Tom Clancy book! If your looking for some great excitement you'll find it here.

Summary: Kick some major bo-o-tay!!!
Review: I am only 14 and this book has to be the coolest book that I have ever read. I love how the plot is so dimented and how much refreshingly violent action is in this book. The world needs more books like this! Even though it is really long and time consuming, this book is definately worth every bit! I highly recommend this book to anyone capable of reading it
