Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Gotta Read Review: This is one book that I believe everyone must read. It is a never-ending spiral of actioin and suspense. I've seen the movie, and I've read the book. Unfortunately for the movie, it is bringing shame to this book. The movie just leaves out sooooooo much of the really good stuff that you just have to read the book to fully understand the enitre plot. Besides, the book is WAY better than the movie anyway!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A must read! Review: Finally, a psycological thriller that kept me surprised throughout. This book is full of twists and turns and suspense. Mr. Deaver is a master storyteller. He draws you into this story right from the first page. You won't want to put it down.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WOW! Review: When I read this, I was amazed! Now I am the biggest Deaverfan. If you like this book you will love "The Coffin Dancer"and "The Devils Teardrop!" Hey Im a kid who hated to read until I read these books!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Full Of Suspense! Review: I have not yet seen the movie. I always read a book before seeing the film. I was always a Stephen King fan until I realized I only really enjoyed the first few books I'v read by Mr. King. However, Jeffrey Deaver knows suspense as well as little romance (between Sachs and Rhyme...will they ever get together! ). I hope he keeps writing more about this great pair! The novel is filled with wonderfully detailed descriptions and dialogue; without over-doing it. I love all the criminology work in the book and I'm thankful there is a glossary because it gave me a deeper understanding of the terms used (although, they are explained in the following sentence of where they are used). I definately recommend this book to one who enjoys suspense and detective work!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It's Grrrreeeeaaatttt Review: For all of you looking for a great mystery book, look no further. The Bone Collector was the first book I read by Deaver and let me tell you that it is one of the only books that grabs your attention in the first two pages. Deaver writes about a brutal and genius killer that leaves a trail of bodies faster than you can read. Deaver not only keeps you interested but also makes you want to read more of his work. One word of advice though, READ THIS BEFORE THE COFFIN DANCER.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Hated It! Review: This book was a JOKE. The so-called suspense in this story didn't even come close to killing me. You have a disabled know-it-all forensics detective, who just got on my last nerve, and his dumb sidekicks solving a huge puzzle that did nothing but get on my nerves. And the ending was the most worst part of this whole book. Definitely not even close to being worth the money I payed for it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Home Run! . Review: This book is the first book I have read since in college. The book took me from the minute they left the Airport!. This was a book that made me feel as if I were at the scene with the killer or the victim. This book is so discriptive in the way Deaver delivers the terror in the plot to the story and how it is described. I have all of Deavers novels and this is the best so far. Awaiting, " The Empty Chair " !.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Strong storry telling Review: I've read mister Deaver's work before, A Maiden's Grave. And i still considered that A Maiden's Grave is still his best work yet.But of course, that does not mean that this book is not worthy of anything. The relation between Amelia Sachs and Lincoln Rhymes is very powerfull, and of course, not to mention the relationship between the two of them and The Bone Collector himself. And there is where Mr Deaver's power lay...and that's why i considered A Maiden's is still his best work. Because the relationship, between the kidnapper, the kidnapped, and the FBI is very well exposed and very tensing. And i agree if there is a reviewer who considered that the movie has done no justice with this work. The movie didn't show any of this wonderfull quality, and it make's the movie just another suspense movie...whereas the book has a unique quality that differs it from another suspense book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book will Blow You Away! Review: Jeffery Deaver is one the great writers of today -his thrillers are wonderfully twisted, intelligent and fast paced. This was recently made into a movie which did not do the book justice. Lincoln Rhyme, the NYPD's best and considered to be the world's foremost criminalist - is paralyzed in an accident and seeks solace in silence yet the police desperately need him. Walking the beat, Amelia Sachs discovers a body buried beneath an overpass (all but his ring finger) and she seals the area off in hopes of salvaging what clues might be left. This action brings her to the attention of Lincoln. The NYPD teams them up to hunt down what might be the cities most deranged killer. This book was fabulous - but it had a major flaw -it ended! I fell in love with Lincoln Rhyme and Amelia Sachs and I couldn't put the book down. It was thriller through and through - and as a bonus it was well written and the characters were so real that you almost felt like you were there with them. I can't wait to see where Jeffery Deaver takes us next
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a must read crime story Review: I must admit that I've seen the movie before I go for the book. I thought the movie was good (with Washington outstanding performance), but was too happy to find that the book was even better. I hope Deaver will continue the story of Rhyme and Sachs. I've read The Coffin Dancer but can't wait to read the 3rd story about them.
