Summary: good but slow start
Review: perhaps I was just to busy during the begening of this book, but it was rather slow and had an almost riduclas plot. but about 100-200 pages into the book i was grabbed and couldn't put it down, i felt the ending could of used some work, but over all it was worth the read.. It was good enough to read the sequel...

Summary: AMAZING BOOK, THERE IS NOW WAY YOU CAN PREDICT THE END!
Review: I'm a huge james patterson fan, so i'm used to his short, quick style, i love it, i also love the intellingence of the character(alex cross) in his novels. But this novel goes toe to toe with "Along came a spider" the best cross novel. When i started reading, i thought it went slow, but then the book took me in, and it never lets go, you are there! you are walking the crime scene! you feel the pain of the victims, you feel rhyme's pain! it was a greaat book, while i admit that the police talk and the foresnics talk could be confusing, the book does not live soley on it. Its not a dumb man's book. The ending is incredible, i just finished it and i'm looking for another deaver novel as i write this.

Summary: A Great Read
Review: An enjoyable, fast paced thriller. Be forewarned, you will not be able to put this down, so make sure the family is fed, the bills are paid, and the yardwork is done, because you will be ignoring all other chores to finish this one. Worth the time despite a somewhat dissapointing ending. Don't think I can bear to see this one in the movies.....

Summary: I LOVED THIS BOOK........
Review: I bought this book at seven in the morning on a Sunday in September. I got home at nine and I sat down to read it. I was stuck in the same recliner until six in the evening. It was an incredible book, combining suspense, science and romance into this enthralling package. I was impressed, to say the least.

Summary: Okay...not great
Review: This book kept my attention fairly well but I can't say I loved it. All the acronyms were annoying and the police jargon seemed forced. His writing style distracted me from the content of the book.

So...the story was good, the writing style was awful.

Summary: Lincoln Rymes could rival the forensics of Kay Scarpetta, MD
Review: This book was excellent. It grabs your attention on the first page and keeps you interested until the last sentence. When I finished the book I was sorry it had ended and was excited about finding another book by Jeffery Deavers. So much so that I went out and bought Coffin Dancer.

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in forensics or who enjoys an excellent mystery.

Summary: bone-chilling!!
Review: This read wasn't disappointing! The thriller is as fast-paced as the Collector described in it and offers somewhat of a challenge to the mind thanks to the elaborate descriptions of forensic methods and tools. The focus is on the crimes and on the psyche of the killer, but a bit of subdued romantic tension is blended in, adding a little 'pique' to the story. Very gripping up to the last twentysome pages, where the surprising finale somewhat disappoints in that it is a bit far-fetched. But nevermind, it's a worthwhile read anyway!!

Summary: I wanted to help hunt this fiend myself !!!!!
Review: I was thoroughly enthralled with this book and found it hard to put it down. I felt the characters were believable and, like Rhymes, fell in love with the lovely and clever Amelia Sachs. Deaver has created a great team here and I hope that he does more with these characters in future novels.

Summary: I almost peed my pants
Review: What a great book! Before reading The Bone Collector, I had been reading a lot of more serious literature, and it was a great, thrilling way to take a break from "thinking" books. I am also a chemist and really enjoyed Deaver's descriptions of forensic procedure, although I definitely felt a little "geeky" because I knew what all the analytical instruments were. But either way, it was a wonderful exciting story. Aside from the fact that I found the book to be a great read, I would also like to note that The Bone Collector is the very first book that I have ever gotten my boyfriend to read. He usually despises reading, but while reading this book, he almost became anti-social because he wanted to read it all the time.

Summary: The forensic details were great, but the villan was bogus
Review: The details of crime scene analysis were facinating. When it came to the revelation of the villan he was so lame I felt cheated.
