Review: In this audiotape, Dave Barry has once again proven that he is the funniest man in America, and we should encourage him. This is probably the only person in the world who could write a column about an article that appeared in a tabloid newspaper about giant killer fleas, and actually be funnier than the original article! Mr. Barry covers the gamut, from toilets that communicate with each other to fishing trips where his son and a doomed worm are competing to see which can be the most pitiful. I have read virtually all of Mr. Barry's books, and this is the fifth audiotape of his that I have heard. This rates very high among them, being a compilation of some of his best writing. This tape has the added benefit of being narrated by John Ritter(of Three's Company fame), who has wonderful comedic inflection. If you are already a Dave Barry fan, this is a needed addition to your collection. If you haven't yet discovered him, this is a perfect place to start!
