Rating: Summary: amazingly true Review: I was very deeply touched by this book. Some of the stories were so sad I started crying, but all of them renewed my fading faith in finding true love. Robert Fulghum's perspective was funny and provocative. He said things that I have long believed but thought no one else did.
Rating: Summary: Moving Review: I would describe this work as very moving. The stories told by Fulgham reached down and pulled at my soul. They are filled with great insight and hope. I sent an audio book to my aunt & uncle for Christmas, and have a funny story about what happened with that. Because the tape player was not working in their home, my aunt went into the garage and sat in her car to listen to the stories one afternoon. After she'd been there a while, my uncle came into the garage from outside to find her sitting in the dark, in her car, and crying. He thought she was having a breakdown. She was only crying in response to the wonderful story she'd heard! This book is great; I have listened a couple of times to the book so far, and writing this reminds me that it might be time for another listen.
Rating: Summary: True Love : This is the book will bring you joy Review: I've been a huge fan for Fulghum's books. He always have a unique perspective in everything. But this book is different from his previous ones. It's a collection of love stories from many people. Fulghum just put them in this book, re-arrange and add his comment. This is one of the most honest book I ever read. Story of strange love, I would say that if we can call it "love". What does love mean? Does it limit only between boys & girls, friends & friends etc? This book doesn't answer anything at all, but it will make you think about it and finally smile.I'm very surprise with such those wonderful, lovely stories in this books. This is the book you will love. Each story has its own charm and memory. Again, as usual, Fulghum's summary in each section of the book is more than I can say. His view for love with the help of his excellent ability to select spectacular words make it a very wonderful book. Good persent for Valentine's day
Rating: Summary: the beginning Review: It would be better told my review in Thai language that how smooth and nice simple letters he explained the word LOVE in his book. The first week i bought this book for myself, after my reading through the book then i bought another two. One for my last boy friend, and the other one for my current boy friend. Just to share a chance of knowing how valuable the LOVE is.I laughed, cried, and smiled while reading it. Yes, it's TRUE LOVE.

Rating: Summary: Warm Fuzzy Review: It's a keeper on my "good book" shelf, hardback with a bookplate, the whole nine-yards. What I love is his selection and the understanding gained that love means different things to different people and (most importantly) at different times in their life. That lesson has helped me cope with troublesom relationships. I loved them for a reason at the time and that time and that reason fulfilled my need. It was enough. That is what I learned. I don't rate this book up with Fulghums' previous books mostly because it is a compilation with commentary and not pure, chapter after chapter Fulghum. That may seem like a technicality, but it made all the difference for me. It still has the same wit and charm of any of his other books. I found it difficult to sit down and get through the whole thing and feel "absorbed". It's the kind of book that you can read a few stories, put it down and come back to as you feel the need. I really couldn't read it straight through. I attribute that to the nature of it though, and not to Fulghums' writing.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Piece Review: Just like his other works, Fulghum outdoes himself in this collection of Love Stories. Even had my 13 y/o son read it and he laughed and cried and enjoyed it as much as I did!

Rating: Summary: Documents the magic Review: Magnificent stories about what love was like for a lot of different people - how it felt, where it came from, what happened. Superb offset to the writers who insist love always "should" spring from friendship - the stories in this book show what love REALLY is. Enjoy the magic!
