Summary: The Real Thing
Review: "True Love" by Robert Fulghum was one of the few books in my life I just couldn't pull myself away from. It really isn't a book written by him, but rather a collection of stores, real life stories, submitted by people throughout he United States.I simply LOVED this book. Reading these stories reinforced my already existing belief that True Love REALLY does exist... but more importantly... it reinforces my belief that Love (or True Love) need not last a lifetime, but can actually be brief moments in time... even minutes. I enjoyed reading all the stories and I enjoyed the Hope that these stories instilled in me. The great thing is... these stories are REAL. They really happened!!! So if you're the type of person who reads romance novels and thinks, "This stuff isn't real." you'll soon learn that some of those unbelievably sweet stories really do happen. These stories are so amazing and breathtaking... we could all be so lucky to have a story such as those within these pages to call our own. I'm still looking for my One True Love... who knows... after reading "True Love"... it could actually happen.

Review: Amazing, almost unbelievable but true love stories. I thoroughly enjoyed it and now I'm going to read it to my True Love, my wife of 32 years.

Summary: Robert Fulghum is an extrordinary lover
Review: How's that for a catchy title? You know, I'm personally convinced that Robert is a gift from God. I love this man so much. He's like the spiritual father I never had. He tells stories and weaves tales that reach straight into my heart and remind me of Love, and how important that Love is to me... no matter how much I've tried to pretend to the contrary. This particular book has helped me to bring forth my emotional self, again. I've just cried and cried while reading it. Don't be scared though; when it comes to Love, I'm a bigger softee than anyone else I know. Hahaha, in movies my 10 year old will look over at me crying and just wonder. If you're a softee, or have ever been a softee, or wish you had more contact with your inner-softee, pick up this book. It's a really easy read. Review: I bought three copies of this book after I had read it. Each was given to a dear friend w/ the inscription to read and enjoy this book, and then "Pass it on!" A wonderful book, it is truely meant to be enjoyed and then shared.

Summary: This book will fill anyone looking for love with hope.
Review: I found this book by accident and since reading it have purchased it for two of my closest friends. It states at the beginning of the book that it is best read with a lover, but coming from a single woman, I found the collection of stories a sign that true love does exist. This book brought myself and my two friends genuine happiness and hope for our own story.

Summary: An extraordinary and touching look at real life love stories
Review: I have read this book twice, once when there was no one special in my life and now, after finding the love of my life! The happy news is that it really doesn't matter whether you are in love or not while reading it; each story is sweet and poignant, and brings out the romantic in each of us. In Fulghum's previous book, Uh-Oh, he shared some of his own love stories, and asked his readers to forward their own tales, conventional or not, with him. To his surprise, he was deluged with stories, both sweet and bittersweet, touching and funny. As suggested by the author, it is the kind of book that may be picked up and read in small doses. Each chapter is separate and complete; there are reflections by Fulgham interspersed throughout. Each heartfelt story stays with the reader; some have happy endings, some do not, but each is guaranteed to touch the reader in some way.

Summary: True Love Stories
Review: I loved this book, every single one of us wonders, what is true love? All these stories have some glimpse, or taste of true love possibilities. Some are full blown true love that stood the test of time. Love is the most marvelous feeling in the world, and most desired of all experiences of humans. Yet true love so hard to explain with words, for the emotion of it is so powerful. The human experience is certainly more bleak without true love in our lives somewhere, sometime. I hope everyone who ever hopes to be in love, or has been in love will read this. I have already bought extra copies to share with my friends. What a treat Robert Fulghum is to those of us who love to read of the human experience.

Summary: My Valentine's Gift
Review: I read one page of True Love at a friend's house. The story I read was so beautiful that I bought a copy right away just before Valentine's Day. It's a gift from me to me. It's a great book to own and to share.
