Summary: pathetic excuse for a sheldon
Review: This book can at best be described as a desperate attempt at a thriller . The plot is an old one - rich and mean business tycoon - hated by his children - dies in an accident - illegitimate daugheter turns up out of the blue and the rest is predictable . 75 % of the novel is predicatble - unless someone has lived in a box for the past 25yrs ! Totally disappointing !

Summary: A 4 star review...
Review: This book revolves around a very wealthy man, Harry Stanford and his three legitimate children, {Tyler, Woody and Kendal} and one illegitimate {Julia} child born to him and the live in nanny. It turns out that Harry Stanford is not a very nice Billionaire. He cheated on his wife pretty regular. So much so that she committed suicide after he and the live in Nanny made a baby. His three children blamed him for their mothers' death. After which the nanny leaves town before the child is born. After the child is born Harry makes it a point to completely ignore her very existence.

The three children and their father were a severely dysfunctional family. The father hated his children and treated as bad as possible. When the children would have cling to each other for support and bonded together, Harry separated them and sent all three off to different schools. When Harry Stanford turns up dead, {an accident????? Nope.} the sibling reunion while not really a sad occasion is very strained due to the fact that they are virtual strangers to one another. And all three are hiding very dirty little secrets of their own. These secrets start coming out one by one when Julia shows up right before the reading of their fathers will...

While a somewhat enjoyable and interesting read I was able to figure out who did what to whom very quickly so there were no real surprises for me throughout the novel. I would still recommend this book however, because I am a big fan of Sidney and have yet to be disappointed by this author. {Note: This is my fourth novel by this author.}

Summary: It leaves you thinking about it morning, noon and night!
Review: This book was a flowing story of greed and domination. I admire how he brings the characters to life, you feel like you're actually part of the story when you read one of Sidney Sheldon's books. That's the characteristic of a GREAT writer. He's definetly "Master of the Game"

Summary: Nice and easy
Review: This is a nice and easy reading, you could read it in one or two days at the beach or in a long flight, the story of the four brothers Stanford is almost unreal but you will have a great time reading the stories and that is why you read a book.
The end of the book is really amazing, when the lawyer reads the will of Harry, it is a good book that make you think.

Summary: You'll keep reading until it's over
Review: This is another great Sheldon book, full of mystery, deceit and murder with a dash of romance at the end to wrap it all up. This story chronicles the degrees to which a person will go to lie, cheat, steal and kill for money and that no one can be trusted - ever. The killer is revealed to the reader, but you are kept wondering when (and if) the characters will ever figure it out.

Summary: question
Review: This is your typical sidney sheldon, it has lot of twists to it and you won't be able guess a single thing. My question is: When Kendall says "I'm responsible for another dead human being" who was the other person she killed?

Summary: Now here's a great book. . . .
Review: What else can I say? Alot. Okay, first of all, this book is unlike any other Sidney Sheldon books. It has the most stunning conclusion I've ever read. In any book. Or rather, it wasn't the conclusion that was stunning, but rather the whole book, with all its plot twists, and it has many indeed. My only complaint is romantic content. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy romantic content, and, with Sidney Sheldon's books, it always enhances the storylines. Unlike his other books, though, the romanticism in this book is so plain and obvious, and it only develops into something by the end of the book. Furthermore, it was wholly unneccary. COMPLETELY unneccary. Not that it hindered the story, or made me like it any less. If you like reading, you'll like this book. Hell, even if you don't like reading, you'll like this book.
