Summary: Overall---a good read
Review: I've always enjoyed his books. Full of details and exitement. One flaw though...as an enlisted man in the military I find his books to be insulting and disregarding to all the enlisted men and women in the Armed Forces. He makes it seem as if it weren't for all those tall, good-looking, well bred officers we wouldn't be successful if all we had were rugged, foul-mouth enlisted people.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Rip Off
Review: If you like Griffin you'll like this series, however save money and find a used book store and look for Alex Baldwin. The name Griffin originally published this series under!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Plagurizing yourself
Review: It's interesting that a writer with W.E.B. Griffin's credentials should have to stoop to taking, almost verbatim, ideas, story lines, and even characters and complete words and sentences from his earlier books written under a pseudonym.

Now, he apparently has run out of original ideas for his work and has had to regress and republish his earlier works from the "Men at War" series.

A sorry tribute to a truely, formerly, remarkable and entertaining writer to have to resort to such purely monetary ways to keep publishing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Terrific, a real 'page-turner"!
Review: Once again, through the eyes of his fictional characters, W.E.B. Griffin allows the reader to imagine what it must have been like for 'real' people to have lived through experiences like those of Donovan, Canidy et al. I couldn't put this book down!

Summary: Griffin keeps you on your seat with each serial
Review: Previously reading Griffin has help set the mind set of the reading his books. They intrique and are suspensful. I enoyed the fact of decrease romance in this book but the realism of how war effects both men and women. Keep up the supspense and I'll be a loyal follower.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Continual saga of heros during early stages of WW2
Review: Reminds me of the characters in the Western great Lonesome Dove. I can't wait for the next installment, I hope I won't forget the characters.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: This is a joke, right?
Review: The characters are shallow and not believeable. Dialog is trite, and the plot is thin and slow. Griffin spends way too much time on irrelevant detail.

I felt like I was reading a soap opera adaptation. First and last WEB Griffin book I'll read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Much better than Volume 1
Review: This book is a much better read than Volume 1 ot the series. Griffin is getting better at exploring the evil that men do for good causes. The depiction of WW II England and the politics of the Free French forces were fascinating. I'll look forward to his next book.

Rating: 3 stars
