Summary: Outstanding!!! Spell binding!!! Can't get enough!!!
Review: Another work of art. Griffin has an uncanny ability to bring you into the story. I wouldn't put it down. I wish that it were longer. Griffin is by far the greatest author that I have ever read. I've read every book of every series except Men in Blue. I'm afraid to start that one. I might like it too much. Can't wait for the next one to come out.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Get it, read it and wait for the next in the series.
Review: Classic Griffin. If you've read the other two series, you can expect what the book is like. Regardless, I didn't put it down once I started reading it.

This book gets into the development of the OSS and does not pay as much attention to the military as did many of his other books. All the characters return from the first book and there are some interesting developments. Griffin also gets deeper into the characters and how they relate to one another. The book is mostly cloak-and-dagger OSS stuff with a few other plot developments thrown in. Not much shooting or violence, but there is a lot of drinking, money and sex -- as is common in many of his books.

Summary: GRIFFIN SHOULD STAY WITH AND FINISH THE CORPS SERIES
Review: GRIFFIN AKA WILLIAM E BUTTERWORTH III SHOULD STAY WITH THE CORPS SERIES AND FINISH THE STORIES . ITS CLEAR HE CAN WRITE UP TO VIETNAM AND HASNT EVEN DONE THIS WITH THE CORPS SERIES. I STILL ENJOY READING ANYTHING HE WRITES HE DOES HIS HOMEWORK AND IS CLEAR IN HIS WRITING.GRIFFIN RULES TRY HIS BOOKS.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This first hardcover printing shows that the storyteller
Review: Had it from the begining. He changes his pen names more than his characters ( Alex Baldwin, Butterworth,)and remains elusive to those of us that would like a book on the author's life. He is a mentor also, to those of us that attempt to master the art of fiction writing.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Please continue the Corps series
Review: Have read all of all Griffin's books. Great author. Looking forward to the continuation of the Corps series.

Summary: A good read
Review: I always look forward to a new book from WEB Griffin even as in this case, it isn't new. I have everything Mr. Griffin has written that I've been able to get my hands on since a friend turned me on to these fine stories several years ago. As with most of the books I enjoy, the main problem with them is that I have to wait so long for the next in whatever series the author has turned to this time. Please keep up the good work.

Summary: awsome: very intriguing
Review: I feel that this book as well as all the others in Mr. Griffins repertoire are just amazing, they keep you interested and engrossed. This man is one author that keeps me reading.

Summary: Typically great Griffin reading!!
Review: I have read all of Griffin's books thus far and have become addicted. They action moves along and the characters are all seen with their human flaws. My only objection is that he doesn't put them out as fast as I read them!! I look forward to some future continuance of The Brotherhood of War. At this point he still hasn't covered Viet Nam, Panama, and the Persian Gulf. OOORAAH! Keep up the good work and you'll have a customer for life.

Summary: more corps books
Review: I have thoroughly enjoyed Griffin's books, primarily those about the corps. But I would like to see him take it all the way to the Viet Nam conflict. He has the talent and the resources to make it really exciting.

Secondly, since he is talking about the Marine Corps, why not do a series on the Navy? After all the Maarines are part of the Navy, arn't they.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent
Review: I haven't missed any of WEB Griffin's books and am glad this one is being re-released. My only complaint is that his editor seems to be sloppy - from one book to the next, some of the minor character's names change slightly (misspelling, or he just changed his mind about the names.) That distraction aside, it's a great read for true fans.
