Rating: Summary: Average Review: This book is billed as a thriller. I enjoyed the basic premise of the book, but for me there are different levels of thriller.
I would classify this one as "soft-thriller". There are no real surprises, the main characters are all likeable and the main leads are always female and male who end up falling in love.
While there is nothing really wrong with the storyline (serial children killer) the whole thing is deja vu at best and the writing style is kind of sugary.
Average read.
Rating: Summary: Out of Reach Review: Wow is all I can say. After reading Blind Run, Patricia's first novel I had to purchase Out of Reach. It's so spell binding, full of suspense and a real thriller. The bad guy, gave me nightmares. The subject matter, at first, was depressing as it involved kidnapping children. The tale is full of suspense and intrigue, a real thriller and will keep you on the edge of your chair. Erin, her main character, is strong but vunerable when it comes to her family. It's a great read and I highly recommend it! I look forward to Lewin's next release in November of 2005, a continuation of this book.
Can't wait until Lewin's next book!
