Review: If you're a dimwit like me then even you can learn to speak Italian with this simplified course. The part I most liked was NO GRAMMAR and just pure and clean instruction in how to really speak the simpler forms of the Italian language that you really need in order to communicate.
I may not sound elegant here, but I want you to get my good news message in your gut.
Italian for Dimwits taught this Dimwit how to speak basic Italian, and that's more than enough for me.

Review: Starting with the alphabet, first they tell you to pronounce e with the "eh" sound, then they say "ee". In the middle of following along with the text on page 2, tape one, side one, it vanishes, only to reimerge on page 21 -22 which is titled tape five! Words are pronounced that are not in the text as well as type-o's. THIS IS JUST THE FIRST TAPE! If you're a dimwit like me, this IS NOT for you. Look elsewere.

Review: What has impressed me about this course is its simplicity.
After using the course daily for about one half hour for a week I now feel that I can say things that an average Italian
4 year old knows how to say. This is not to be taken lightly.
Other courses I have used tried to teach me to say things without giving me this valuable foundation first and everything fell apart for lack of a basis that I now have.
Perfect course for the beginner in Italian.
