Review: The story of Michael and Angel is one you can't put down. This is a display of REAL LOVE. The kind of love that GOD has for us. It was so beautifully written and I couldn't put it down. I even got up at 4:00am just so I could continue reading. It will capture you heart and when you are done reading it you are a changed person. My hats off to Francine for her fine work! I can't stress enough, READ THE BOOK!!

Review: I just loved this book!! I read it on a vacation and I couldn't put it down. Francine Rivers showed us that God forgives. She also showed us God's never ending love. I would also recommend The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers. It is also a wonderful book!

Summary: Great example of God's love.
Review: Micheal is a character who shows us an example of the unending patience of God's love for us. Angel is a character who shows us how much sin and shame can seperate us from the very thing we want...unconditional love. The story of how these two get together is a reflection of the way we come to know God. Francine Rivers ties it all together with a craft well honed. I can hardly wait for her to write more romance novels with Christian values reflected through out.

Review: The author has such a compelling way of drawing her readers into the setting. She makes you feel the joy and the pain of the characters. This story retells the Biblical story of Hosea in a setting and time that makes it believable. I cried and I laughed. I enjoyed it so much I bought 2 extra copies. God Bless you, Francine Rivers!!!

Review: The characters were very real to me. And even if it was the past or the present and the future. Everyone judges them, even when we know its wrong, still we judge, and relize that we are not perfect, for it is written, Matthew.7: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."Amen. Like when Paul didn't believe that Angel had changed, and would always jump to conclusions. Michael indeed was wonderful towards Angel. He should be an example toward other men to follow. He loves his wife, Angel, and never gives up on her. He waited for her, and his love grew even more when she returned. It is very true that God will always be with us, even when it is the lowest and darkest time of our lives. He is always with us. What Francince did, made me want to write almost like her. God has truly blessed her to serve him this way! He is always with us, now and forever more. Amen. Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all teh days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. And his word is always true let us not forget it. His book is my food and drink, it shows wisdom, for me to follow, and his love for me and anothers. Praise his name for he is our redeemer, praise his name. I really liked the book. Review: Never have I read a book that allowed me to feel the love of God so profoundly. It's so easy to lose sight of God's love and focus on our love. For me to know that God seeks me out and desires to love me is more than I can imagine. This book spoke to me of the pursuing love of God. I am better for reading it. Keep up the good work Francine.

Summary: A Wonderful Love Story!
Review: I have been a fan of Francine Rivers's since I read "The Scarlet Thread." I believe this book was actually her first "inspirational" work and yet it avoids the pitfalls of many other inspirational novels. Rivers boldly takes on difficult topics and situations and gives her characters a sense of dignity (in the case of Sarah/Angel, her dignity comes through the course of the novel). Unlike so many other inspirational novels, "Redeeming Love" shows how God's Love can be shown even through the most dark of hours.

Review: How does Francine create a character so good he's unbelievable and yet totally credulous? The shadows of Hosea and Gomer are there, as are the reminiscences of Jacob and Esau. Life in the gold rush days for a believer in Jesus the Savior is full of surprises and "growth." A wonderful love story on more than one level you will hold your breath and cry before you finish with a warm joyful smile. Don't wait until it's out of print!
