Summary: I loved the book!
Review: I loved this book! It talks about unconditional love, on the part of God and Michael. I was so moved be the love that Michael had for Angel that I was in tears. This story reminded me of me and my husband. I was rejected and abused as a child. I married a wonderful Christian man who loves me unconditionally. I often tested him in many ways to see if my husband truly loved me and he does (even though he got frustrated at times like Michael in the book). So I could really relate to the characters and how believable they really were. I look forward to reading more of Francine Rivers' books. We need more writers like her.

Summary: Amazing Love
Review: When I first recieved this book as a gift, I took one look at the cover and was thinking to myself, "Oh great, some whacked out Harlequin novel spin off." But at the insistent naging of my mother (who purchased the book for me) I jumped into the first chapter. Then I found that I could not put it down. The story drew me in, like I was really there. I felt Angel's shame torment and Michael's despair and obstinate faith. I even found myself getting a little teary eyed in some places. (this coming from a girl who doesnt do love stories) This book changed my view about how God truely sees me. Amazing love, how can it be?

Summary: Ever felt your sins were too grevious for even God's love...
Review: This book is a true testament of God's unconditional love. I was in tears throughout the book as I related to Angel in so many ways. Angel is a young woman sold into prostitution at age 8 who sees no other alternative but to continue living as a prostitute throughout her life. She is pursued by a godly man, who pursues her and loves her simply because God said so. For a long time, her heart is not open to his pursuit. In fact, she mocks his efforts to love her and mocks God. When he finally convinces her to marry him, she continually runs away from him and returns to prostitution because she doesn't feel she "deserves" his love. It takes him years of patience and persistence for her to finally see his love is unconditional and reflects God's love for her. As with every story involving God, her heart softens in the end, not only towards her husband but towards God. A truly amazing story of the love God has for even the worst of sinners. Even for me.

Review: I feel like "Redeeming Love" was dropped into my lap as a love-gift from God Himself (shipped via amazon.com) :-) For anyone who has ever been hurt, for anyone who has ever been rejected, for anyone who has heard that God loves you unconditionally but struggled to believe that because of feelings of unworthiness, for anyone who has ever struggled with pride or striving to please God through "works" or "earn" love, for anyone who has ever thought that God would give up on you because you had given up on Him---this book is for you! Francine Rivers retold the story of Hosea in such a powerful way that all I can continue to do is weep with joy...God loves me! GOD loves me! God LOVES me! God loves ME! This book is not only well-crafted & intriguing, it is like a healing balm of God's Word & His Love to every wounded heart. READ THIS BOOK: you will not close the last page unchanged, I can assure you!

Review: Redeeming Love is a first class novel. Ms. Rivers touches many souls with her writing, but this one is the best yet. Not only do I recommend this novel, but I feel it is a necessity for baby Christians who love fiction. Review: The unconditional love and unfailing grace of the Lord can be felt throughout this book. Michael is such an example of true Christ-like love. If you are married to a wonderful man like him, this book will give you an even deeper appreciation for your husband and will strengthen your marriage. This is also a wonderful resource to give to unbelieving friends or those who are struggling in finding their significance in Christ rather than what others may think of them.

Review: A friend bought me this book (he had previoulsy bought me 'The Scarlet thread', and 'A Voice in the Wind'. I read it in ONE sitting - I did not go to bed till I finished it. It really touched my heart, and ministered to me. It brought to light God's redeeming love, a love that is there no matter what we do, the love which makes us all that we are, gives us all that we have in Christ. A must read!!! Francine Rivers, go on!!

Summary: An excellent demonstation of God's love through Michael.
Review: I've never read a more touching novel. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. The characters moved me to tears many times throughout the book. Seldom do I find a book good enough for me to read twice, but this one, even the second time around I couln't put it down. I even bought a copy for my friend, and hope that the love of Christ would touch her as it had touched me. I used to read secular romance novels. Ever since I quit them, I hadn't read a romance novel eventhough romance are my favorite. I especially appreciate this one because its not about a perfect woman, but for once it's about a perfect man. I'd love to read more novels characterizing the man as a saint. Overall, it is my favorite novel and a most treasured one.

Summary: What an AWESOME book!!!
Review: This was the first book that I read of Francine Rivers. Oh my...what a book. Since I was only vaguely familiar with the story line... it was such a love story. Michael loved God with all his heart and soul. He depended on him completely. The way God guided Michael to Angel...the way he kept guiding him to her over and over again. Angel running off and coming back again. Michael forgave her over and over again. I loved the way God spoke out in this book. I felt sometimes he was talking to me too. This was such an uplifting story. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!
