Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing! Review: I have read every one of her books and frankly could not waitfor a new one to come out. Unfortunately, it looks like Mary and her publisher are trying to capitalize on her popularity by trying to see how fast she can produce new books, with little regard to content. Instead of "I couldn't put it down", this one was "I forced myself to finish it just because I paid for it!"

Rating: Summary: Short Stories doesn't mean No Story Review: This book was just terrible. I know Mary Higgins Clark hasrecently gotten married and she may have tried to transfer some of that romance into this book about a newlywed couple. But what may I think she wrote more about the color of Sundays hair and how her husband would miss her if she die None of them made sense, you weren't given enough information to make them either suspenseful or for It reminded me of some of Agatha Christie's books where she would bring in a person that had never b Sunday was saved by giving a clue that nobody would have ever been able figure out. But in just short time, under all the stress of her being kidnapped, Henry was able to solve the mystery, by remembering exactly what he was wearing the first time they met and getting the suspects name from the clu The third story had an interesting concept. She should have filled it out and made a novel from it, I'm happy that she has a new book out and can't wait to read it. I hope, however, that I never have to read any more stories with Sunday and Henry
Rating: Summary: Short Stories doesn't mean No Story Review: This book was just terrible. I know Mary Higgins Clark has recently gotten married and she may have tried to transfer some of that romance into this book about a newlywed couple. But what may be romantic between two real people in love can be sickening to read. I think she wrote more about the color of Sundays hair and how her husband would miss her if she died than she did with the plot of the stories. None of them made sense, you weren't given enough information to make them either suspenseful or for you to care about the people.
It reminded me of some of Agatha Christie's books where she would bring in a person that had never been mentioned before, just to solve the mystery.
The first & fourth story were just boring.
The second story was probably the most ridiculous.
Sunday was saved by giving a clue that nobody would have ever been able figure out. But in just short time, under all the stress of her being kidnapped, Henry was able to solve the mystery, by remembering exactly what he was wearing the first time they met and getting the suspects name from the clue she gave him.
The third story had an interesting concept. She should have filled it out and made a novel from it, with other leading characters. I'm happy that she has a new book out and can't wait to read it. I hope, however, that I never have to read any more stories with Sunday and Henry
Rating: Summary: Was it writen by Carol rather than Mary? Review: After about three pages I thought "This wasn't writen by Mary; it is the style of Carol, her daughter."
Rating: Summary: Leave this book off your list of stocking stuffers Review: Although the first story in this collection kept my interest, the second one almost made me quit reading altogether. Henry and Sunday are an amusing couple, but we are given only bare details about their character, such as how beautiful they are, how much money they make, etc. As a mystery fan, I was amazed to see how many "clues" Mary Higgins Clark dropped; unfortunately her sleuthing duo was not intelligent enough to pick up those clues, leading to last-minute coincidental rescues. A disappointment from one of my favorite authors

Rating: Summary: Not Her Best Review: A major disappointment. Formulaic, predictable, overdrawn characters - don't waste your $!
Rating: Summary: Very Disappointing Review: Mary Higgins Clark used to write excellent mystery thrillers. This book shows nothing of that talent. There is no character depth, no real suspense, and no attempt to involve the reader in the story. I only hope the author will return to her old form in her next book
