Summary: The Book You Simply Can't Put Down
Review: The book was excellent. It indirectly went over the issues of diversity and interracial relationships. It is a book based on reality and truth. It is touching, and at the same time, it is a ride filled with excitement. This is a must read. I met Eric Jerome Dickey personally in my hometown of Pembroke Pines, and meeting him was just as pleasing as reading his novels. Milk In My Coffee is an uplifting novel ,in the sense that it broadens your views on society and culture shock. Read it for yourself...you'll be pleased.

Summary: Could not get into this book.
Review: Did not like this book after 3 chapters. I usually enjoy reading Jerome's books. But this one really stunk.

Summary: NYC and tricky relationships
Review: I enjoyed Milk in My Coffee for the following reasons: It takes place in NYC, the characters were somewhat compelling, and there are some serious plot twists at the end.

Up until the plot twists, I found this story to be sort of boring. I was wondering what was going to happen with the main characters. I figured, if they just continued on and lived happily ever after, I'd have wasted my time with this book. But the ending is interesting, and that is why I put the book down feeling satisfied.

This is a good summer read that will have you thinking about relationships, human nature, and NYC.

Summary: Lively, thought-provoking read on interracial relationships
Review: Dickey writes with heart and makes his characters come to life. Real-life situations and characters who could be your best friends make this book one you will not want to put down. I read it from cover to cover in one night! Don't know how he does it, but Dickey manages to capture the thoughts and feelings of both men and women in a style that is uniquely his own. Everything this author turns out is first rate - BUY HIS BOOKS!

Summary: Enjoyable
Review: Milk in My Coffee, like the other two novels is a page turner. The topic is controversal, but like I told my freinds who haven't read the book, you will like the white girl. I recommend the book to all fans of Dickey, and I can't wait until he releases another book. I'm truly a Dickey fan.

Summary: Funny and in your face drama!
Review: This was my second book by Eric Dickey...the first being Liar's Game. I must say that this book was a tad bit better. I could not put this book down and after carrying it around with me at all times and reading it at stop lights, the ending was so good! I am a lifelong fan of Eric Dickey and have since purchased all of his books. I have finally found an author that writes about real life events in the African-American world from a brotha's point of view. I love it!!!!

Summary: A mild case of lactose intolerance.
Review: MILK IN MY COFFEE was good enough for four stars, but didn't earn enough points for five, because the majority of the gripping storylines involved parties that didn't include the relationship of the main characters. Jordan and Kimberly's interracial involvement was interesting, but it didn't seem to have been as in depth as I would have hoped. This was Jordan's first time being involved with a white woman, so his feelings, both emotionally and socially, were covered at surface level. Kimberly's thoughts and feelings were not covered at all. It was all good to her. At the end of the book, I read why, and I saw it as a cop-out. Eric took the easy way out with Kimberly and that left me feeling a little flat. The storylines that involved Jordan's search for his missing brother, Kimberly's missing husband, and J'nette's pregnancy were very well crafted and will have the reader turning pages to find the resolution to these issues, but when the main story takes a back seat to the subplots, then it's time to re-evaluate.
