Review: Eric Jerome Dickey has once again written an excellent book about relationships, family and love. This particular book is different than his previous books in that there is an air of mystery this time. It was full of suspense and I was able to finish this book in only 2 days!! I highly recommend this book and look forward to his future books.

Summary: Always keep a open mind!!!
Review: Another great book by Dickey! At first I had trouble getting by the subject of this story (Another black man with a white woman) but I was able to understand how it could happen with Jordan. We must always remember that things may be different on the inside than they appear on the surface.I especially loved they way Dickey explained the meaning of the title "Milk in My Coffee". I Can not wait to read his next book.

Review: As with Mr. Dickey's previous books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I thought that Jordan's issues with his relationship with Kimberly were right on the money. I think deciding to get into an interracial relationship would be a very difficult situation for anyone, especially when society as a whole still seems to have such a problem with it. I have never dated outside the race and don't know that I ever would but I believe "you love who you love" and I think Mr. Dickey's book shows just that. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Review: This book shows how Mr. Dickey has refined his writing skills. It is an excellent read. I completed it in one day. I enjoyed the twist and turns. Very lyrical. Hats off for a job well done.

Summary: Entertaining
Review: I found this book to be thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining. However, I did have a problem with the premise of the book - an interracial couple dating and finding love; but, it is an inherent bias on my part and not with Mr. Dickey's storytelling. What I liked most about the book was how he portrayed their romance as two people who were mutually attracted to one another. Another aspect of the book I found exceptional is the male character questioning his blackness and challenging his beliefs on love or rather who he should love. I would recommend this book to those who want an enjoyable read. Dickey is a true storyteller. This is not profound literature and I don't believe it will change your life, but you will be entertained. I wholeheartedly disagree with the reviewer who wrote this book's characters are more fleshed out than those in his previous two novels. As with anything, book interpretation is a matter of opinion, so dear readers form your own opinions based on your own interpretations and likes and dislikes of the author's work.

Review: Once again, Eric Jerome Dickey has written a great book. I truly enjoyed Milk in my Coffee. I think Mr. Dickey is one, if not the most, gifted authors in the 90's. I love his work! Keep them coming. I can't wait for the next book. I will definitely pass this one on to friends and family.

Summary: It was good, but not all that
Review: Dickey's story telling has definitely improved from his previous two efforts. I was very attentive three-quarters of the way, until the last fourth. It didn't make any sense to place such a severe twist towards the end. It left me puzzled. It would recommend it, but would also mention that it's a "light read."
