Rating: Summary: Fantastic! The characters grab you into their world. Review: Eric Jerome Dickey has an excellent grasp of male/female relationships. Just when you thought you knew it all he places a twist where you have to go through another door. His words jump out at you and grab you to join the characters on an adventure. You cry, laugh and get angry at the different events taking place. When reading this book have a paper and pen ready for the baaad one-liners he throws at you. Great reading.
Rating: Summary: A MUST-READ! Review: I read this book in 4 days and for an author to draw a written response from me takes alot. I simply could not put this book down! Eric masterfully weaves a web of mystery and suspense, while adding a spark of humor and romance. These characters are real and it was a treat getting inside their heads as the story unfolded. Milk in My Coffee takes us into a world that is often viewed from the outside, and shows us that things are not always what they appear to be on the outside. . It is thought-provoking and gripping. EJD, you are on your way to being "the best"! Much respect. Clarissa B.
Rating: Summary: very enlightening book Review: Mr. Dickey brings to life the challenges an interracial couple may face. The book made me think how I react to an interracial couple and how to now improve my behavior. I never thought of what that couple might be facing. Good job.
Rating: Summary: This was a great book,I couldn't put it down Review: I have read all of Mr. Dickey's books but this was by far the best. I did enjoy all three of his books though and I am really looking foward to the next. After I finished this book,I felt kind of sad because I felt like I was losing some really close friends in Jordan,Kimberly and Solomon. I would highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: By far the best book by Mr. Dickey Review: Great! I so enjoyed this book. Mr. Dickey dialogue rings true off the pages. So real and funny. He made me stop and check my attitude about color and interracial dating at the door. The ending was da bomb! Really surprised me, which is hard todo. You have a loyal supporter of anything you write. Big up!
Rating: Summary: Extremely good & highly recommended Review: This book made me laugh, cry and think! I was surprised by the different situations and how they were handled. I saw myself (an African-American woman who comments and stares at interracial couples) in this book and decided that I (like so many others) need to CHANGE for the better! Like Reggie said: AS LONG AS THEY ARE HAPPY...that's all that should matter.
Rating: Summary: I wish this book never ended! Absolutely Fabulous!!!! Review: Someone needs to make this book into a movie. I loved that book. Rating: Summary: Best of the three! Review: Milk in My Coffee kept me engrossed from page one. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and had a hard time putting it down. I got very involved with the characters and found myself hoping that Jordon didn't base his choice on the color of Kimberly's skin. I was very pleased with the way the book ended.
