Summary: OUTSTANDING READ!!
Review: I finished 'Milk In My Coffee' this morning and have passed it on to a friend already. It is interesting to see this issue from a male perspective. Seldom do I find a book whose characters are true to life. I'll be looking for all of Dickey's upcoming books. I'll definately read the 'Sister, Sister' and 'Friends and Lovers.'

Summary: The most captivating book I have read in a long time.
Review: EJD: did it again. I found this book captizating from the very beginning. Thanks for demonstrating the realities of relationships from the black man's perspective. I liked the unexpected surprises too. I am the milk in my husband's coffee and appreciate the acurate portrayal of the relational struggles.

Summary: Very Entertaining....
Review: This is the only book I have ready by Mr. Dickey and I thought of it to be very entertaining. He showed a more sensible side of interracial relationships that people tend to wonder about. I was wondering if he's planning on writing a sequal to Milk In My Coffee, maybe something like "Shaking my Mocha".

Summary: This is a must read book for both men and women
Review: This book have a lot of suppries. Just when you think you know the some one you find out that not the person is not who you though they was. Kim oh I'am sorry Kimberly is a very strong woman and one of the best in the book.

Summary: Love American Style, with a twist!
Review: I began EJD's novel with lots of preconceived notions about where he would go with "Milk In My Coffee." I was wrong! I enjoyed this book so much that I quickly bought "Sister, Sister" and "Friends And Lovers." Then I finished those as well. What a ride, this brotha can write. A prior reviewer was dismayed that the "one drop' theory with Kimberly was unbelieveable. Believe it honey, it happened in my family. And, my cousin who passed for white, ended up with a brown skinned baby, much to the surprise of his wife and inlaws. He's now divorced. Can't tell him from any other caucasion in town! Eric Jerome Dickey, keep up the good work and I look forward to many years of reading your work.

Summary: MIMC is a must-read!
Review: I just got finished with this book and I just loved it! It is funny and touching at the same time. In today's world, one has come across this issue certainly more than once. I'm glad that EJD addressed it in such a thought-provoking way. However, it is not preachy or heavy-handed. The characters were real and I cared about each of them. I liked Kimberly a lot; she is strong and a woman of the nineties. Just when you think you have J'nette figured out, you don't. It's cool!!

Summary: A Wonderful Insight to the Reality of Dating Interracially
Review: Eric Jerome Dickey has become one of my favorites. I have dated interracially since the 5th grade, and I love a good book that can express the reality of the whole thing. Dating interracially is a hard task to do, some people, in my opinion, do not know how to handle the pressures and snickers, etc. . .Dickey did it so well that I was enthralled. I could not set that book down!! I read it non-stop for 3 days and finished. There were actually parts where I cried, and I laughed. It is so emotional and well-written, I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good book about reality of this generation. *For EJD- Your book really touched my heart, and I loved it. I meant to send you an email as soon as I read it, but had not gotten around to it. So thank you.

Summary: Excellent reading...I simply loved it...
Review: Engaging, enthralling, captivating. No that's not a description of 'MIMC' that's a description of EJD, he's all that . Now on to 'Milk', this book was just great, the storyline was real and the people true to life. I thought the characters were very believable, and again Eric showed in this his third outing, how screwy our lives get when we fail to COMMUNICATE. The main characters Jordan and Kimberly, were just looking for someone to feel and fill the void. And when that void filled, they then had the arduos task of deciding if they could afford to keep it. It show how unrestrictive our hearts are and why we still have a long ways to go in the department of human beings. This was not my favorite topic, but it was tastefully done, and by mid book, Kimberly's race was no longer an issue in my head. The romance was more sensous than sexual and that's one thing about E's books that pull you in. For those who read Friends&Lovers, did you catch where Kimberlys' husband worked and where Jordan was going to work? I'll be in line at the book store in July, to pick up 'Cheaters'. Eric, Please keep them coming.

Summary: I loved the story but the ending...
Review: The story was okay the problem was the back and forth between jordan and j'nette then the part with his brother reggie was touching that got to me although I haven't being there. the end of the story lack information and the guessing what happen didn't help. mr. Dickey lets hope your next book is steamy, exciting and sexy.

Rating: 5 stars
