Summary: Very interesting book
Review: I really liked this book, it really took me by surprise. I had no idea none of those things were going to happen at the end, like a lot of books I've read, you can kind of predict was it going to happen. I normally just read while I'm on the bus, but I could not but this book down, I even read as I walked down the street. It had so many suprises in it. I love the way Eric fitted in Kimberly's dream. Most of the surprising parts had me on the bus oohing and ahhing, people were looking at me like I was crazy! At first I didn't agree with the relationship with Jordan and Kim and the way he portrayed the sistas. But it is a lot of sistas with attitudes like that. I wish the ending could have been a little different, but I quess everybody needs love. I recommend this book to everyone.

Summary: The Author!!!
Review: Milk in my Coffee wasn't at all want I expected when I heard the title. It made me realize that you can't judge a book by its Title. From the first page I didn't want to put the book down, it made me want to read more and more. Congulations Eric you deserve all the success. The book was great. I'm looking forward to reading CHEATERS.

Summary: First time reader of Eric Jerome Dickey and I Loved IT!!
Review: Being a sister that (I have to be honest) gets a little twinge when I see a "brother with another" I was first hesitant to read this book.. However I did and from the very beginning it hooked me.. I found myself feeling the character Solomon and his interaction with Kimberly.. I even put my guard down and said this couple is working out, regardless of all the "drama" they encountered. He wrote a book with the emotions of a woman in the character of the man.. I felt he realistically portrayed some how sisters react when they see a "brother with another". However, I loved it when he threw in the suspense, with the ex-husband situation, the betrayal of the best friend the loss of a job, the love of family, the realiness of the sister-n-law and his brother. Eric wrote real situations most of us can relate to.. Just when I had accepted the fact that this brother was loving this woman, he threw in the big surprise.. This book, caused a gamut of emotions for me.. I absolutely loved it.. And when the surprise was revealed in the end I silently smiled and said YES!! I am glad I picked it up and blocked out the hesitation and gave this author a chance.. I will be now be backtracking to read his other novels..

Summary: wonderful
Review: What an interesting book. Twists and turns throughout the novel. Within 2 days I was done. Every reader will be rewarded.

Summary: Not as good as the other 2 books!
Review: Milk in My Coffee was ok but not as good as the first two books. I felt that you could have portrayed sisters a little better!!! We are not all dumb compared to our European counterparts. Hopefully, 'Cheaters' will make up for this last novel.

Summary: Excellent!! Exciting from the beginning to the end.
Review: I Loved Milk in My Coffee! Erik Jerome Dickey has a wonderful way of words that relates to not only black culture, as shown, but to a variety of other races, and ethnic, social backgrounds! I'd love to see FRIENDS AND LOVERS made into a movie!!! that one really touched me!!!! LOVED IT!!

Summary: Coffee Is Not My Cup of Tea
Review: Hated it! Hated the characters! It was dumb how the characters met and became a couple. Didn't quite get that. There are a few good laughs, but not like what you're accustomed to when reading an Eric Jerome Dickey novel. He made black women seem evil and ignorant... Come on, Eric! You can do better than that!!! Readers want material that's readable and interesting; not fairy tailish and uncredible. Better luck next time!

Summary: Wow!!!! I wish it were a 3 part movie!!! Give me more!
Review: I tried to read a few other books on Friday but couldn't get into them. I started reading your Sunday evening. I simply could not put it down!!! Our first introduction was Friends and Lovers and I found the same was true for this book. I read your book because I KNEW it would jump start me into reading and staying on that track. I will try to read something else starting today but I know It won't stir me like your writing does. It is so sharp and incisive. I love your writing style. I always feel as though a good friend has left when I finish your books, and when I have to put it down for anything I feel as though I have paused a good movie. I even read your books at stop signs and at traffic lights in the car. I love your first person style from both angles - Male and Female - into the world of dating. Your so descriptive in your work; I see the story as I'm reading it. Keep on writing. I can't wait to read more of your books. I wish you could pump up the volume and put out about 2 books a month. Is that too much to ask? Selfish aren't I. I try to write a little but it isn't up to your level yet....I have faith though. It will be. I think I'm going to find Sister, Sister this week and keep on reading the good stuff. Sure wish there was another book out there by you....hint, hint!!!!

Summary: A definite read that you won't be able to put down!
Review: Milk in My Coffee is a definite read. It will keep you thinking and stir your heart. The author has a way of bringing each character to life. You really feel as though you know them personally. I have read each and every book written by the author and look forward to reading Cheaters in late June!

Summary: Just getting impatient for the next book........
Review: Having read Erics previous offerings, Sister, sister and Friends and Lovers I knew what to expect of this book before the purchase. He allows you to share each experience almost on a one to one basis - allowing you to switch with passion from one character to another. In this book he tackles the black/white relationship issue with real page turning conviction. I could not put the book down, the twists and turns keep you reading long after you should have put it down and gone to work. I dont expect to ever be able to write as well as he does but the pleasure of reading his work will do for now. I didnt give it 5 stars only because I have to leave something in reserve for future offerings.
