Summary: Excellent!!!
Review: I'm a white woman who was married to a Jamaican man and know the looks that people give. I thought this book was a good read, finished it in 2 days. I was alittle disappointed with the surprise about Kim...oops I mean Kimberly...but all in all it was good stuff. And that Solomon...who would have thought...Eric you did a great job and I will make sure I purchase some of your other books. Keep it up...next time make it cream in your coffee.... ;)

Summary: Really WOWIE!!!!!
Review: I love the book very much and it relates to me in some ways. As a Jewish lady, I have been married to a Creole/American-African man. Before the marriage, some African-American women resented about my relationship and I had to work harder being their friend. In a few years, finally I was accepted after they knew me better. They shared their feelings and opinions openly so I understood. So to me, love has no color and God loves all.

Summary: EXCELLENT!!!
Review: This book took me on an emotional ride. I was mad at J'nette, jealous of Kimberly's friends, glad and mad for Jordan, and I felt sorrow for Peter. Great Book! A must read for everyone!!

Summary: milk in my coffee is a realistic romance
Review: Well this is the first time I have read any book by this author, but he is a very good writer, I like his style of writing. I'm trying to get into writing myself and I have an idea of what good writing is. I wanted to read an interracial romance and this one is it!!!! Its the bomb!!!! Kaboom!!! Well this is comin' from a brotha too, straight up. He gave these characters some flaws to work out and some differences to settle all the while keeping the romance intact. Scadalous people in the story as well as caring people. I love them all. Eh! Jerome if you out there um brotha could you write another part to this book. Maybe you can write about how there marriage works out.

peace!

Summary: coffee in my milk
Review: I just got finished reading "milk in my coffee" and it's 1:30 am. I devoured it in one day. I think it's a very well written novel on a topic that needs to be read. Funny thing I figured it before I read it by the very cool cover art (and they say you can't judge a book that way!) and maybe a little personal insight. Glad to see, especially, Jordan shown in a moral, kind, responsible way. I am so sick of flat comic book amoralistic people in the popular media. Anyway thanks for a great read. I am recommending it to my friends maybe they'll understand me better. laura a redheaded artist with coffee in my milk

Summary: Excellent writing for excellent reading!
Review: Mr. Dickey has displayed that he is truly a talented writer of fiction. One page leads to another without delay. Milk In My Coffee is a very good story regarding relationships with family, friends, lovers and associates. The greatest being the family relationship. It's Fiction but full of REAL lessons. Keep up the good work Mr. Dickey!

Summary: An explanation to why some brothas date white woman......
Review: Now I can understand how people can fall enlove without regards to race. I felt that the book was a wonderful depiction as to what black men are really thinking when they date white women. Even though Kim turns out to be bi-racial the book shows how Mr. Greene was attracted to her and that her color had nothing to do with what he saw in her. It teaches us to never judge a book by it's cover b/c that person can always turn out to be something totally unexpected.

Summary: This book is somewhat insulting to Black women
Review: First, this was an interesting book to read and although it was offensive to me, as a black woman at times, I couldn't put it down because I was intrigued by the subject matter. The author could have found a better way to make Kimberly a likeable white woman without making the sistas look evil, uneducated and wild. Frankly, I don't know any black women who are as volatile in their manner as the characters found in this book. This is a very touchy topic among the sistas and I feel the author could have handled it much better. I also didn't like the big revelation at the end. I thought the author should have "stuck to his guns," so to speak. However, there are a few good laughs and some truly good writing in this book. As always, I will continue to be a fan of the author and continue to read his books. Peace!
