Summary: THIS BOOK IS DA BOMB!!!
Review: This is a review and a comment to the woman in DC. Sister, please get a grip! First, YES, I do know alot of women just like J'nette(and some more triflin than that)!!! So, just because you don't know ofLany woman like that, doesn't meanLthat they aren't out there torturing poor African Kings!!!!! EJD is speaking the truth in his books!! I can't wait to read FNL and Cheaters. Milk in My Coffee was excellent! I will say this, Kimberly shouldn't have lied. She should have told Jordan that she was married and had a black father, not that the father part was a big deal...

Summary: Left me wanting more
Review: I enjoyed this book....only becaue I was still riding on the high of "Friends and Lovers" but the book left me wanting more...I think that EJD could have developed the character of Kim more andd not dismiss the serious issues that biracial women in america face....The book made me rethink my own prejudices on interacial dating. Leaving me to question what color is love anyway?

Summary: TO MUCH DRAMA
Review: ALL THOUGH I DO LIKE EJD'S STYLE OF WRITING I JUST WASN'T FEELING THIS BOOK. SISTER SISTER, FRIENDS AND LOVER, AND CHEATERS WERE ALL THE BOMB. I WILL TAKE MY COFFEE BLACK, 2 SUGARS AND NO MILK PLEASE. CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME IF THEY KNOW ANY SISTERS LIKE J'NETTE BECAUSE I SURE DON'T. ANOTHER THING EJD WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PUT THE SISTERS DOWN IN THIS BOOK? I KNEW THAT IT WAS ABOUT INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIPS, BUT WE AS PEOPLE HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF SPECTUM OUT THERE PUTTING US DOWN WITHOUT YOU JUMPING ON THE BAND WAGON. YOU MADE THE EUROPEAN WOMAN KIM..EXCUSE ME KIMBERLY APPEAR TO BE GOT AS GOLD THROUGH OUT THE BOOK THEN AT THE END HIT US WITH OH BY THE WAY KIMBERLY IS...WHICH STILL DIDN'T MAKE A DAMN DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT WASN'T IF SHE WAS PROUD ABOUT WHERE SHE CAME FROM OR SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD JORDAN AT FIRST. SO PLEASE IN FUTURE WRITINGS KEEP IN MIND THAT WE (MEANING AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN)HAVE BEEN OPPRESSED LONG ENOUGH WITH OUR AFRICAN KINGS ADDING TO THE OPPRESSION. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT THE AFRICAN QUEEN (MOTHER OF EARTH) DOWN TO MAKE THIS TRUELY TROUBLED EUROPEAN WOMAN APPEAR TO ILLUMINATE. SO TO ALL MY AFRICAN QUEENS OUT THERE WHO ARE READING THIS KEEP YOU HEAD UP AND PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP. YOUR KING IS OUT THERE LOOKING FOR YOU AS WE SPEAK, AND IF YOU HEAD IF DOWN HE WANT BE ABLE TO SEE HOW TRUELY AMAZING YOU ARE.

Summary: This book read smoothly and I couldn't put it down!
Review: Wow! "Milk In My Coffee" provided me insight to the flavorful life of America's Black culture. Better than many works of fiction I have read in my 21 years, I went on to read other books by this author and under this category. This book kept me hanging and satisfied me from start to finish. I can't wait to read it again!

Summary: FRIENDSHIPS, LOVE,BETRAYAL.........DYNAMIC READING
Review: I got into Eric's work almost by accident with Friends and Lovers, and quickly got my hands on Milk in My Coffee. I am waiting to read Sister Sister. The brother is deep..I really enjoyed this book quite a lot. I am a black woman that has never been all that cool with brothas and others. The thing I got from this relationship is that smooVe fell before he knew what was happening, which is quite possible. Thank you Eric for this relationship for sistas like me.....

Summary: Keeps you wanting to know "what's next"
Review: Wow! I just could not put this book down. Dickey's writing style is sooo smooth and flowing--easy to read. That's why I decided to give him another try. I read 'Sister, Sister' and was unimpressed with the story line, but 'Milk in My Coffee' is really REAL. It will make you think about your personal hangups with interracial dating. It reminds us all that so many of us (in the US) are of mixed heritage whether we want to admit it or not. There are some coincidences and sensationalism (of the movie-type), but it does not distract from the plot--just keeps you asking "what's next?"

Summary: This book is awesome!!
Review: This book is awesome and the first book that I have read by this author. It was funny, sincere, sensual, and full of life!!! I must admit after reading this book, I no longer have a dislike for interracial relationships. I fully believe this book was meant for me to read in order to get rid of that bitterness toward mixed relationships!! Love is love.. regardless of the people involved. I loved the book and would give it 10 stars if I could!!! READ THE BOOK!! :-)
