Summary: Spectacular Thriller
Review: This being my first Clancy, I definatly am impressed. His writing style is perfect for the terrorist thriller. The book can get boring at parts but you just keep rooting for Jack Ryan. An awesome page turner and must read novel!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book, Haven't Read Many Better
Review: The character development was wonderful. The book kept you interested the whole way through. I wanted to get to the end, but I was sad to see it end. This book has gotten me interested in reading more books by Tom Clancy since this was so well written.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It is an exciting book but........
Review: read it before the breaking up of the Prince and the Princess would give you a better feeling. It was difficult for me to link up the "Prince" in the book to the one in our live. Anyway, it is a "story", a good and exciting story. I specially like the beginning part when Jack Ryan intercepted the terrorists' attack on the Royal couple.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great story that keeps you interested and involved.
Review: One of Clancy's best. Character development is superb. Not as technical as he can get (which is a plus in my book). Much, much better that the movie. I think people who enjoy this would also like Clancy's "Without Remorse", which is my favorite by him.

Summary: Suspensful and Original
Review: This Clancy novel puts you on the edge of your seat from the first page all the way to the last. A daring attempt on the Prince and Princess of Wales is foiled by american tourist and former marine Jack Ryan and the terrorist leading the attack has a vendetta against the man. In a nonstop suspense story Clancy again show's he's the best at the genre he practically created. Readers who also enjoy this novel should also read Clancy's The Hunt for Red October,Without remorse or Clear and Present Danger.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best that I have ever read!
Review: This book couldn't have been written better. Clancy's sense of realistic terrorism in this book is simply the best, and nobody can argue with that.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thumbs Up
Review: A first rate read that has a wonderful page-turning subtext in that Jack Ryan not only has to get the bad guys for being bad guys, he has to get them because it's PERSONAL, that they have harmed his family, like in Craig Furnas's THE SHAPE, so that you really want Ryan to give them what they deserve! (And I also like this one because it's earlier Clancy that isn't so loooonng like his latest novels are.)

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This was easily the best book I've ever read.
Review: Tom Clancy was at his best when he wrote this. It's incredibley thrilling and the detail is spectacular. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm going to. I'm glad I read the book first. Its 503 pages are filled with excitement. The only downside is a few kind of boring chapters. But the exiting ones easily out weigh the not so exciting ones. It makes you fall in love with almost all of the charactors so much, that I almost cried reading one part of it. I liked it so much, I lent it to four other people and they can all tell you how good it is. I'd recomend this book to anyone!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: THE MOVIE SUCKED BUT THE BOOK IS SPECTACULAR!!
Review: I watched the movie before I read the book and when I read the book I had to go back and watch the movie again! What were they thinking when they made this movie?!?! The (movie) plot is all messed up and half the characters from the book aren't even there!! The ending was a real sham and Harrison Ford should be ashamed to even be in this movie. As for the book I found it refreshing after the techno jargon-riddled Hunt for Red October. I think this is one of my favorite Clancys because of the way he makes the terrorist's need for revenge the main focus of the book. A definite must-read in the Jack Ryan series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So Many Characters, So Little Time
Review: Clancy creates many intricate details to each character that gives us the feeling of personally knowing each and every character, good or evil. Definitely complicated but Complicated and Clancy go hand in hand. I read this book when I was 14 and I have read it five or six times since then and each time I read it I understand or notice different details and descriptions. My favorite of all the Clancy novels.
