Rating: Summary: My name is Iraj!!! Review: I just want my name on the net, I have not read any books in my lifetime, and probably will not start! Please post this on the net. I love you Mania!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: WOW!!! You HAVE to read it yourself!!! Review: Patriot Games has been truly one of the best books Tom Clancy has ever written. A little to descriptive if you ask me, especially when 1/4 of the story takes place in the hospital. It quickly picks itself up again. I could not recommend this book enough. It has been the best book I have ever read!
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put this book down. Review: I enjoyed this book a great deal. I have to say it is one of Clancy's best novels. From the time Jack Ryan saves the Royal Family this book doesn't stop. Non-stop action coupled with the feelings and fears of a brilliant and kind man. I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone!!
Rating: Summary: CIA analyst Jack Ryan wars with IRA terrorists Review: When Jack Ryan stops an IRA terrorist attack on the Royal Family his life is put in serious danger. The terrorists start to target him and his family. Surviving open machine gun fire and an attack at his own home Ryan and the rst of the CIA bag the terrorists. Full of action and suspense this book along with Clear and Present Danger are Tom Clancy's best books. It will keep you hooked from the first page all the way to the last one. This book shows why Tom Clancy is one of the number one authors around.
Rating: Summary: Clancy's Best Thriller Yet. Review: Ok, so even if I was only thirteen years old when I read this book, I knew how to spot a wonderfully woven plot. It was fascinating. Especially for a teen who had never read a really long novel before. Sure I've read most of the Star Trek/Star Wars books, but none of them were as long as Patriot Games. It inspired me to read some of Clancy's other works. I am certain, however, that Patriot Games will remain my favorite. It was excellent. Non-Stop Thrills. Jack Ryan is clearly defined, and Is a "Man with a Purpose" playing a few "Patriot Games"
Rating: Summary: Tom Clancy strikes again with Patriot Games. Review: This book is a non-stop thriller. Jack Ryan intercepts a group of terrorists making an attempt on the lives of the Prince and Princess of Wales. Clancy has struck gold once again.
Rating: Summary: This is a non-stop thriller . Review: This book is a high-tech suspense, it will stop and make you wonder. You will not be able to put this book down. This is one of Tom Clancy's best work and should not be missed.
Rating: Summary: Reads like pre-"October" Clancy Review: Easily the weakest of Clancy's thrillers--more than a little preposterous, presumptious and/or pompous at times. In large part the book feels like something from a less experienced but clearly talented author--say, a Tom Clancy in his pre-"Red October" insurance-agent days. It wouldn't be at all surprising if "Patriot Games" is a rework of a draft that had been gathering dust for years in the Clancy attic.
Rating: Summary: A non-stop thriller of a man who stops a terrorist group Review: Patriot Games Tom Clancy, author of the book Patriot Games, is one of the most renowned authors of books that deal with modern war and terrorism. The book Patriot Games is a book that deals with modern day terrorism, and a man named Jack Ryan. The book was fantastic, and would be recommended for anyone (not children, of course) who have a remote interest in political war against terrorist organizations. The book begins in telling a life summary of Jack Ryan, retired Marine officer, who has taken up a historian profession. During the beginning of the book, Mr. Ryan was in England on a vacation, when he comes accords a terrorist attack on the Royal family of England. The attack occurs right in the middle of downtown London, exactly where Jack Ryan is. He foils the assassination attempt, and is knighted by the King and Queen of England. Later in the book, the terrorist organization responsible for the assassination attempt, tries to gain revenge on Jack by making assassination attempts on him and his loved ones, but the terrorists do this in the United States. After a while, the CIA gets word of all of the assassination attempts, and Jack along with the CIA try to apprehend the long running terrorist group. The book had many surprising twists, that led to exciting conclusions. This was very well written book on terrorists, their organizations, the impact they have on every-day life, and the men and women who stop them. If I had to rate the book (on a scale of 1-10), the book would receive a perfect 10.
Rating: Summary: Easily Clancy's best book!! Review: Tom Clancy is one of the best writers out there and "Patriot Games" is easily his best book. It doesn't have all his ususal technical garbage or life lessons, it is an honest to goodness kick in the butt action thriller, the ending is a little weak but who says anyone is perfect?
