Summary: LIKE A P.I. MASTERY?
Review: New on the scene, Raymond Austin with his Private Investigator Beauford Sloan. It's fast paced is due to Austin coming from years behind the camera. This is an entreating yarn. Well written and a page turner.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fun to read
Review: I really liked Beauford Sloan for his humor and decent behavior. The plot moved swiftly and the dialogue was realistic and appropriate to each character. I felt involved in a small family as I met his partner Sally and her daughter and all the old cop friends, plus Beauford's animals and his farm. He is shrewd with cunning that comes with age and experience. I hope to read more novels by Raymond Austin sharing adventures with Beauford and group.

Review: Raymond Austin has written a fast-paced thriller, full of twists and turns which kept me guessing til the last page. Beauford Sloan is an attractive main character who has a luscious sense of humour and the plot itself is interesting and unusual. I am already looking forward to the next in the series, so get writing, old friend!
