Review: Beauford Sloan is a welcome to the PI world. I hope he's due for more. "The Eagle Heist," is Austin's first and I'm sure a winner. Love Beauford's world and his friends that give him the helping hand. Love his dry sense on humor. Nice to get away from the plot ever now and again to the real people in Beauford's and Sally's lives. I was a fan of Austin's as a television director and writer. I'm pleased to see he's pulled it of with his first book.
