Review: A young lawyer moves to Memphis with his wife to accept a high paying dream job. All goes well. He works hard but soon finds out his law firm is not as legit as it may seem. A great book written by an outstanding writer. May not be suitable for younger readers due to explicit sexual content.

Review: This book is certainly my favourite book ever. After this book I can't stop reading John Grisham's books. Unfortunately we are not allowed to write a bookreview on none of Grisham's book....which is really unfair....he really writes thrilling stories even if you would think law is boring. This book is the best of all his books..believe me, because I have read all his books except "The Partner" which I am reading now. It has a really good story and I have a hard time putting the book away so I can get some sleep or even eat. I have seen the film after I read the book..holy matrimony!!!...It is nothing compared to the book. If you don't want to read this book , then try one of his other books. But hey, if you don't ..YOU'LL MISS SOMETHING!!!!!

Es ist sehr spannend und dramatisch geschrieben, so daß man glatt im Urlaub den Urlaub vergessen würde und sich Urlaub vom Urlaub nehmen würde. Einfach ein schönes Buch, daß sich sehr angenehm und gut liest. Wie jedes Buch von John Grisham ist ein super Werk geworden und verdient zu Recht seine vielen Auszeichnungen. Review: I'm only 13 years old and because of this book I am hooked on John Grisham. It got me hooked from the first page and never quit. I've never been much of a reader, but when I started reading this, I read at least an hour a day and finished it within a week. I have also seen the movie dozens of times, and even after that, the book was not dissapointing.

Review: I had every intention of liking this book. Good reviews and personal recommendations prompted me to buy the thing. Thankfully I bought it in paperback (they burn easier). I have never been so disappointed by a novel in my life . Grisham's boring attention to meaningless detail is equalled only by the flatness of the characters he created for "The Firm". It is as dry and unliterary as a history book. Where is the symbolism, the allegory, the things that make books interesting? Not here, my friend.

Summary: I lost a few nights sleep!!!!!!!
Review: I have to admit that I watched the movie before i read the book, and I must say that the book did'nt disappoint me! The characters were real, the situation real,the predicament REAL!!! This book makes you think what you would do if someone offered you the world and then carefully uses it to blackmail you into doing things that are unethical and not within your moral character. I read the book in 2 evenings and the loss of sleep was well worth it!!!!

Review: For the sake of time I will describe The Firm as a thriller that keeps you captivated and wanting more throughout the entire novel. John Grisham is, in my opinion, one of the greatest writers of four time. His novels have been the cornerstone for many writers books.
