Summary: Think Die Hard in the White House, with a vengence
Review: After reading Term Limits by Mr. Flynn, I immediately started on Transfer of Power. To say I was pleased with this novel would be an understatement. While I do draw certain paralells to the first Die Hard movie, this book does diverge on many points. We are treated to yet another look into the minds of politicians who once again are rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, a recurring theme with Mr. Flynn. Unfortunately this seems to be an altogether realistic view of certain politicians. We also see the inner workings and motivations of the special units that go a long way towards protecting the citizens of this country.There are numerous technical items that are very believeable. The use of remoted cameras, scrambled radios, and others are but to name a few. The weapons are realistic, the tactics and their inherent risks and advantages are likewise on the mark. There are even areas where our heroes make mistakes, and they rise above it, showing that they are human, and not some kind of James Bond superspy. This is another keeper, and I have already ordered the next novel that Mr. Flynn has written. If he keeps this up, certain well known authors of technothrillers will have to move over and make room for the new big dog on the block. Go out, buy this book and enjoy. I know you will.

Review: Transfer of Power is Vice Flynn's 2nd political thriller. Kept me on edge till the last page. If you enjoyed his 1st book (Term Limits), you'll love this one, too. Can't wait to read his next offering.

Summary: A non stop thriller!
Review: Vince Flynn knows how to write a fast paced and exciting book. I really enjoyed Transfer of Power and would recomend it to anyone who likes suspence novels. I gave it three stars because the book really is not that well written. Flynn really does take license with reality. He expects the reader to believe that those who run this country are not very bright. He may be correct, but hope he is wrong. Despite the fact that this is not a GREAT book, it is worth the read. I really did enjoy it.

Summary: Great Read!!!
Review: The only time I would put the book down was when I didn't want to learn what was going to happen. I picked up the book from a hotel with very few selections. I left on a flight from ORD at 11:45PM and read it non stop to LAX. When I got home at 3:30 AM, I kept reading for another 45 minutes. Highly recommended for anybody who likes politics or thrillers.

Review: I was not able to put this book down. Having read all of Clancy's books as well as a large number of other action books, this one has really impressed me. There is a non-stop action. The characters and dialogue is as real as it gets. I can't wait for his 3rd book to come out.
