Summary: Page Turning Fiction
Review: There's a deep understanding of Mary's characters in You Belong to Me. The plot is gripping and just proves that you shouldn't trust anyone! You can't be afraid of death and read this book either. So you better be ready for a story full of suspense, murder and even a little love.

Summary: You Belong to Me
Review: Mary Higgens Clark is one of my favorite authors. She writes suspensful and page turning novels. "You Belong to Me" is one of the most entertaining books I have ever read. Her style of writing is original and intense with excitement. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books that are so riveting, it's difficult to put down. The story's main character is Susan Chandler, a psychologist with her own radio show. She uses the radio show to look into a case of a missing woman, Regina Clausen. Regina disappeared on a cruise ship and was never seen again, but in her possessions was found a ring with "You belong to me" engraved on it. A woman, who calls herself Karen, calls into the show and states that she has a similar ring and a picture of the man who gave it to her. The killer hears her and is enraged that his identity might be revealed. He follows Karen, whose real name is Carolyn Wells, to the post office and pushes her in front of a speeding van. The killer is so obsessed with protecting his privacy, he kills three more people who might have had information leading to his identity. Meanwhile, Susan is dating a wealty man named Alex Wright, and another psychologist, Don Richards. Susan likes both men, but is really interested in Alex Wright. She continues to uncover more clues about the killer and is starting to understand the connection between the recent deaths and the killer's habits. She is at her desk one night going through pictures she accured when the killer suprises her and attempts to kill her. To find out who the cold-hearted killer is, read "You Belong to Me". There is nothing I would change about Mary Higgens Clark's book. I applaud her ways in keeping the reader continually guessing the identity of the killer. The unexpected ending will bewilder you. I look forward to reading her next book and encourage everyone to read her splendid book, "You Belong to Me".

Summary: Edge of your seat
Review: Clark does not leave anything to be desired in this piece. She leads you down twist after twist and keeps everything fresh and new. Nothing remains a mystery after all though. A very complete and captivating novel. Just what you would expect out of Clark.

Summary: Could not put it down
Review: Though not great literature, this is a "page-turner" that keeps you guessing. The Clark formula for suspense is well-utilized and this book will please fans of her earlier works. Take it on a plane; the hours will fly by. Take it to the shore - but be sure to wear a good sunblock. You will forget the time.

Summary: Too predictable and therefore boring
Review: If you read only two books of M.H. Clark they are great ! Very good airplane / beach reading, but after the second book it becomes too predictable. Ms. Clark writes like a cooking recipe, always follows the same good old rule " there is a character which seems to be a good one, however comes on stage rarely and .... here we got the bad one ! " This book is no better / no worse than her other novels...If you haven't read any go ahead and buy it. You'll have fun, however don't waste your money on any of her books if you have already read 2....

Summary: Very Good Read
Review: You belong to me was a twisting and interesting tell that I throughly enjoyed. From the begining where Dr.Susan Chandler discovers that the murders somehow must go together to the end where the mysterious killer is revealed. Yes this plot is not as complicated as other books, it was a little slow in the begining, but quickly intertwined you in a story of suspense. The killer at the end totally through me off I thought it was definately not that person and someone else who would be more suting to that role. I recommened this novel to anyone wanting a good read that is quite interesting yet suspenseful. This will keep you reading for a while, I read it in a matter of days! I couldn't put it down. For those who have already read You Belong to Me I recommend another of Mary Higgins Clark's books I'll be Seeing you is absolutely fabulous!

Summary: Mary Higgin Clark - one of her better novels
Review: You Belong To me by Mary Higgins Clark is a suspensful and intriguing book. The main character, Susan, is a psychiatrist who has a daily radio show that includes a period for call ins. During one of her shows she stumbles upon a case of missing women form cruise ships. As she digs deeper, listeners to her radio show call in and provide useful information. Consequently all the people who call in end up dead while Susan desperately scrambles to figure out who the murderer is before she's next. I found the plot of this book to be very unpredictable. I found it to be one of Mary Higgins Clark's better novels.

Summary: Another Airplane Book
Review: This book is suitable for mindless wasting of time and/or airplanes but little more. The bad news is that the story and characters are immediately forgetable. The good news is that you can read it again with only a vague, lingering sense of deja vu. I don't think Ms. Clark need worry about that Pulitzer, but then, with a fat bank account from turning out bestsellers, she probably isn't worried about leaving a substantial literary legacy. And she shouldn't be. This is the stuff that builds publishing houses. Kind of like drywall - dependable, cheap, looks good, but not a whole lot of depth or real substance.

Summary: A light enjoyable read but a give away
Review: After all the good reviews I have read about MHC books, I was expecting a deep plotted story & well crafted work. I found the book enjoyable to read but nothing was left in my imagination. It was a light & easy read compard with what I anticipated. I will not mention who the obvious characters were for those who have not read the book yet but wish to. One character was openly greedy that you would have eliminated him from the start. The other was too obviously strange that you would have readily believed him to be the culprit but would think otherwise. The other was too good to be true & you might wonder what his role was, other than a love triangle. For all it's worth, it was not really a waste of time. I liked it but it was more like a daily soap show on TV compared with what I thought was a big shot movie --- if you know what I mean.
