Summary: Lewinsky Most Courageous Woman In History Of Civilization
Review: Lewinsky and Morton's beautifully written epic of young Monica's search for her identity and life's purpose in the hallowed halls of the nation's capitol is positively spell-binding! 'Monica's Story' will inspire and edify any young sex-crazed coed with limited intelligence to the magical possibilities that await them, if only they are willing to take the first step, as our courageous, energetic Monica did. Bravo, Monica. As that brilliant social critic Jay Leno recently stated about this book, '...it provides a blow by blow....'. And so I also say to Mr. Leno, Bravo, Jay, bravo. You are a comedic genius of unparalleled brilliance, just as Monica is a fiery flame in this dark and monotonous world of ants marching. Cokie Roberts thanks you Monica, as well as Larry King, geraldo rivera, William Bennett, Ann Coulter, Barbara Olson, Stuart Taylor, Jonathan Turley, Soledad O'Brian, John Gibson, George Will, Bill Kristol, Tim Russert, and most of all.. Chris Matthews. They all thank you for giving meaning to their empty, purposeless, annoying little lives. How can they ever repay you?

Summary: Monica thinks this is love and that this is a 'love' affair.
Review: Monica comes off as an immature and volatile person capable of throwing embarassing scenes. (Note the scenes with Betty Curry). And Clinton, after a while, appears to be trying to appease her and also seems to be trying to sound out the situation. She seems to be relentless in her approach toward him, and he seems to be trying to distance himself as best he could without setting her off. On the basis of some furtive sex (but not intercourse) she decides this is a relationship. The story seems to be honestly written from her viewpoint, but fails when it makes the assertion that Monica did the Walters interview for no money; not that I blame her, but didn't she get the rights to the European broadcasts and a percentage? The story has most of its value from the picture it draws of the intricate play of politics, circumstance and governmental power and abuse. However, one gets impatient, as I did, with her emotional ramblings and fantasies, even if I might have reacted the same way at that age.

Summary: I thought the book was well written.
Review: I enjoyed reading her side of what happened. I think she is a very sensitive young woman and that the President was the one that should be held accountable. I feel everyone should read this book to get the truth.

Summary: Monica is all too Human! So much like all of us!!!
Review: I read the book with interest even though I listened to all the TV reports. Its interesting to me that she could be your daughter, and we all seem to judge her so badly. I dont feel sorry for her, but can understand how it could happen. The president is the one who should be ashamed of himself. She knew what she was doing, but was infatuated. I only hope she has learned a good lesson from all of this, and will stay away from married men. Thats all I have to say.

Summary: One word... TERRIBLE!
Review: So Monica was a fat girl growing up in Beverly Hills with a Dad who didn't show her enough affection, who cares? If this was suppose to make me feel sorry for her, I didn't work. Don't waste your time with this one.

Summary: I'm sorry to say that I couldnt even finish it
Review: It may be wrong of me to even write a review here since I couldnt even finish the awful thing, but I would like to just say that this was the most boring, unreadable, obnoxious piece of garbage I have looked at in a long while. I would give it no stars if I could, and if any of you are thinking of buying this book, stop yourself, it isnt what you think it's going to be. Borrow it from the library as I did, it'll save you some buyer's remorse.

Summary: Monica hits back
Review: This book was poorly written, Andrew Morton tries to make things seem overly dramatic, thereby cheapening Monica's story even more than it already has been. I feel a lot of sympathy for her, and was glad to see she was able to express herself freely and unencumbered. Finally Monica gets a chance to defend herself, and I feel she did an admirable job.

Summary: Book did not change my perception of Monica Lewinsky
Review: This is book intended to garner sympathy for a thoughtlessly self-centered young woman who did not know enough to keep her mouth shut when it counted the most: whenever a man has his pants unzipped and whenever a secret is best kept to yourself. This person still does not seem to understand the gravity of the situation she helped to cause, namely, the impeachemnt of the President of the U.S. and the betrayal of his friends, family, constituants and collegues. All she does is whine about the treatment that she was subjected to as a result of her tawdry fling. She still misses her "Handsome", the man who used and manipulated her and then discarded her like yesterday's newspaper. One has to wonder what it would take for this girl to get the picture that all the men she's known so far have used her for one thing only and yet, she inexplicably longs for them and remembers them fondly. Monica needs to find some way for men to relate to her other than her "comfortable sexuality." Monica is a very beautiful girl who is not fat and undesirable. Her opinion of herself is seriously flawed. She needs to impose a vow of chastity upon herself before she destroys any more lives of wives, children and unborn babies. I write this review as a pro-choice advocate and a person who can no longer stand to look upon the face of Bill Clinton. I think Monica should learn a lesson from Joe Di Maggio and just keep it to herself. I, for one, would not like to travel the length and beadth of the earth being known only as "the queen of the BJ". This book did not change my perception of her one bit.

Summary: just one view
Review: I heard the story, and I feel that all the content of the story was told with just one person's point of view . It is like subjective . She told about her feeling , her love and sustained of betrayed by friends, but we didn't know yet what actually she is in another person's -who involved in the story - point of view. How another person think about her .

Summary: Not bad, but............
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, but if Monica was trying to change the public's opinion of her, she didn't succeed. She comes across as extremely immature and self-centered. The book is full of excuses. My personal favorite was the reason for hanging on to the "stained blue dress" - the reason being that Monica had to watch her finances and couldn't really spend the extra money to get it dry cleaned. Then in another chapter it talks about how she spent either $100 or $125 (can't remember the exact amount) on a book for the President. Kind of contradicts itself. I also thought it was rather amusing that she became upset when seeing the President and Hillary with their arms around one another while on vacation. I mean, if she actually thought she meant something to the President, I guess she found out otherwise.
