Rating: Summary: The other woman-A different perspective Review: In his latest novel, E.J.Dickey draws the reader into the mind of all the characters, yet the main character a news producer thinks that she has everything going for her career and marriage until she finds out about the other woman. Dickey takes a look at a familiar story line and yet takes the issue of the other woman to another level. The story line is a tumultuous saga of the devastation infidelity has on a marriage. The characters are lifelike as Dickey explores the challenges of a modern career oriented marriage and its struggles for normalcy. Lives are no longer the same when the other woman enters the picture and everyone's life is changed forever. Dickey answers the question of how two people can love each other intensely and yet with one decision lose everything they have worked hard for. The reader glimpses snap shots of the scorned wife in a love scene with the other husband, and we also see instant messages of lovers lost in a new found forbidden bliss. The reader is spellbound as they see snap shots of a marriage that starts to unravel at the seams until it is ripped wide open. One of the most fascinating features of the book is that E.J. Dickey sparingly reveals the name of the main character as "Freckles". Without formally naming the main character, Dickey allows the reader to identify emotionally with the main character. What a roller coaster ride of a read that will keep readers on the edge of their seat. The characters and their riveting story will resonate with readers for a long time. Helen R.E.A.L Reviewers
Rating: Summary: It's been done Review: I bought the book because I love the author. I was kinda disappointed with his latest book. At best it was average. I expected more coming from him. Although the book had its moments, I can safely say I could have lived my life without reading this book. If you just need something to read while traveling or need something to keep you occupied then pick it up, but as far as a serious novel, read one of his other books.
Rating: Summary: Really makes you wonder if your mate is cheating Review: This was altogether a great read, but I think the ending could have been a little bit better. It kind of left me hanging. There needs to be a summary in another one of Dickey's books about what happened after the character went on the road with her horn. Does she every rekindle the relationship with her husband? I mean everything up until that point of the book was intriguing. It definetly has the potential to be a great movie. This was the first book I read by Dickey, but I do plan to read "Naughty or Nice". Sound like it will be a great read as well.
Rating: Summary: Compliments to the Author Review: I think my eyes finally popped back into my head after finishing "The Other Woman". EJD is a very creative writer. He knows how to get you deeply caught up in parts of his book , and before you know it, he can flip the script without any warning without losing the reader. Every turn of event seems to be more exciting than the other. I think that I've read "The Other Woman" at least three times already. I don't usually do that with books, but EJD's books are just that fascinating!
Rating: Summary: BRAVISIMO! Review: This book NEEDS, I say again, NEEDS to be made into a movie!!!! Could NOT put it down. In Korea, EJD is traded amongst the troops in my unit and everyday it's a delight discussing T.O.W.!!! I swear this one would win an Academy Award!!

Rating: Summary: bangin' Review: I bought this book and did not read it for the first month! When I did start reading it I could not put it down! It took two days to read it and that's only because I had to work. This book had me hooked from start to finish!! Good reading
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: I think this was very well written and had a lot of detail as mostly all his books do. I was hoping for a little more at the end, but I know he will write something that will bring the main character back.
Rating: Summary: Now that's what I'm talking about Review: I hesitated to purchase this book. But I did. And I don't regret it at all. It was good. It was written well, it was deep. The only reason I give it 4 stars was because sometimes you could just tell that it was a man speaking from a woman's point of view (but I expected that), and sometimes the characters were using so much foul language that it was a turn off. I found myself cringing at their actions and reactions, though, and that's how I know it was written well. But the ending was quite a surprise. So much so until I cried. =) A very good read.
Rating: Summary: Twists and Turns Will Catch You Off Guard Review: This is an awesome book. I am a big EJD fan. This is a definite page turner and goes off in a direction you are not likely to suspect. The end could be better. But right before the end will have you captivated.
