Summary: The Other Woman
Review: You must read this book. The drama is this book made me relive some of the past experiences. The characters are believable. When Freckles finds out about her husband cheating. She is devasted. You will feel her pain and sympathize with her. But the drama that unfolds will keep you glued in your seat. This is a one day read.

Summary: I was expecting more.
Review: I was really expecting more from this book. I'm a fan of EJD, but after Thieves Paradise, I was hesitant to buy The Other Woman. The story was okay...it will keep you interested, but this book isn't EJD's best work. If you're looking for a good book from EJD, I suggest Milk In My Coffee, Cheaters, Between Lovers.
Others,.. Men Cry In The Dark by Michael Basisden, 4 Guys and Trouble by Marcus Major

Summary: Oh my ...
Review: Realistic, page turning, everything that a sister finds herself doing in a time like this. Very touching to the heart. I felt every emotion that she felt. It is a wonderful book! I am definitely going to recommend this book to anyone that comes my way. Trust me, it is a must read!It brought alot of things into prospective, and also made me realize how easily things can escalate, ultimately turning deadly, from stupid mistakes that we take for fun!

Summary: WOW!
Review: Love can be so overwhelming sometimes... This book is very intense, very sad but true...Eric has proven to the public that he is extremely imaginative, spine-tingling, exhilarating, and over all demanding your attention from start to end. This novel is about love and hate and how very thin the line is between both passions. Excellent read, cound not put it down...Very very good...Again, Eric exceeded all expectations... He is indeed in a class of his own...

Summary: Awesome Read!
Review: I bought and read The Other Woman on the very first day of it's release! What can I say except - AWESOME!!! As with all of EJD's other publications, I loved TOW. I have read them all and I will anxiously await his next work of art! The way he subtly mentioned characters from previous books really took me back and got me to wondering if I could look forward to hearing more about them in the future. To those of you who have not read Mr. Dickey's fine works of art - You are truly missing out! I suggest you run out and purchase each one of his books and read them all!

Summary: WOW...What a Story!!
Review: I must admit I was kind of scared to read this one. I attempted to read "Theives Paradise" but I could not get into it. But I loved many of his other novels.

The narrator, who is dedicated news producer, describes her marriage as strong and loving. She works nights, weekends, holidays, birthdays and all of the other very important dates. Her husband Charles is a middle school teacher - lots of free time. Her world turns upside down when she receives a call from a David Lawrence-the antagonist- who has been trying desparately to track her down. You see... his wife has been having an affair with her husband. Things begin to get ugly. Yet, the unique part of EJD story is the relationship between the narrator and David Lawrence. There is passion, lust, excitment, pain and craziness that is shared between these two couples as they try to save their marriages and find themselves. I definately was not prepared for what happened next.

EJD....excellant. It was wonderfully written. I really enjoyed the relationship between the narrator and her friend. David Lawrence was my favorite character.

Peace and Blessings!!

Summary: Great book, one of EJD's best
Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, sensual and unpredictable. The story is full of pain, love and redemption. Although the plotline with Yvette could have been avoided, everything else flowed smoothly. Take my word for it, BUY THIS BOOK!!!! You will not be disappointed. As a matter of fact, I have recommended "The Other Woman" to all of my friends!!!

Summary: An unusual take on infidelity and its aftermath...
Review: I read this novel last night, hoping to be entertained and enlightened. I loved reading all of EJD's novels, and this one did not disappoint me. There are numerous twists and turns in this story (read the book, and you will know what I mean!)

To me, this novel shows modern-day marriages in the USA - the joys and struggles that couples can face. It also showed how selfishness can get the best of us and leave serious devastation in its wake.

After reading this novel, I realized that honesty can be one of the best results from an affair (that is, if everyone involved is honest with themselves and each other). It doesn't even matter if marriages end in divorce or recover and continue to grow: an affair can help the people involved to become better (not bitter) people.

I only rate the novel four stars because I am ambivalent about the way the novel ends (I won't give away the ending - read the novel for yourself!) I recommend this novel for all people because everyone has dealt with betrayal (not necessarily betrayal in a marriage) at some point in his life. Read it!

Summary: He may be the best that ever did it.
Review: This book is written so well it made my stomach hurt as I thought of being in the same situation as these people. Even makes me think about my own pending nuptials. He captures all sides of the situation perfectly. This is a real world problem written in real world words. No fairy tales or mushy dialogue. I think EJD is head and shoulders above any other writer in his genre and I read everybody. This book shows how delicate a marriage really is and how it can't compete with human nature. Man made morals can't compete with feeling neglected in your marriage. Can't compete with the anger of feeling betrayed, and also can't compete with love. In the end you love who you love and you try to grow from mistakes.

Excellent book. I'm glad he puts out a new one every year.
