Summary: REDEMPTION AT ITS BEST
Review: I have to be honest, I wasn't feeling Thieves Paradise at all. That was not the work of the Eric Jerome Dickey that I've come to know and love.

But I must say, he came back strong with this book. Let's just say this, I bought it in the airport on my way to a conference in Germany. 4 days later I was on my second read! I would recommend this book to anyone but especially anyone in a committed relationship. It gives you a "worst case senario" like you've never seen before! I felt as if I knew each character intimately and couldn't wait to see what happened next. The chapters transitioned beautifully and I especially liked the way your imagination went wild at times.

Very good job!

Summary: Very Good
Review: One unnamed female narrator who finds out her husband is having an affair. EJD tells the story of 'Freckles' and the events of two weeks in her life that change it forever. He is able to keep you reading despite the limited nature of the scenario, five major characters: Freckles, her husband Charles, her best friend and work colleague Yvette, Jessica and David Lawrence. EJD is able to explore the emotions Freckles is going through and the nature of morality and Marriage in the life of a couple who work different shifts. Along the way we come across some old characters; Kimberly Chavers (Milk in my Coffee), Inda & Valerie (Sister, Sister), Tseday (Between Lovers) and Tammy Barrett (Cheaters) - are there any i missed? After the hiccup that was 'Between Lovers' I think EJD has got back on track with this excellent book. (On pg 113, Freckles says "i imagine shooting jessica. shooting Curtis..." Who was Curtis? Did she mean Charles?)

Review: I actually wanted to cry at the end!! This book takes you on so many emotional rollercoasters. At first you love people and then you hate people and then you love them again. Oh my goodness!! I love EJD, I read some of his other books and I own Cheaters and Liar's Game. I am glad to add this book to my collection!! I would highly recommend it, it's a fascinating read!!

Summary: Awesome
Review: What a terrific masterpiece! The Other Woman is an awesome story about marriage, family, love, relationships, lies, and deception. Then the author wraps it all up in a bundle of intricate complexities of intrigue. From start to finish the lives of the unknown narrator her husband Charles, along with Jessica and David Lawrence will posses your imagination and consume your thoughts. At the same time they will shatter your own sense of trust, innocence, and naivety in the relationships that you're currently involved in. Eric very subtilely reverses the common gender role to show that women are just as susceptible to misplaced priorities as well as men. This is a story that you will not want to put down even after you finish the last chapter. It will continue to live on in your innermost thoughts and actions as you encounter the ups, downs, and fatal distractions of the "greener grass" syndrome. The next time that you are faced with an indecent proposal ask yourself if a season of physical satisfaction with someone other than your mate is worth a lifetime of tragic memories and insurmountable grief. Especially when that grief affect everyone around you as it starts a domino effect. "It was a mistake, it was stupid, it just happened, it's over." None of these excuses can reverse the act and none can dull the pain...

Summary: The Other Woman
Review: I have read ALL of the novels written by EJD - but I think "The Other Woman" is the best one yet. I read the book in one night -from the time I opened the book, I just couldn't put it down.

Am looking forward to reading your next novel "Naughty or Nice".

Keep up the good work - your name is on my "A" list (E. Lynn Harris, Michael Baison - just to name a few)!!!!

Summary: Things are Not always what they seem
Review: EJD has again blown my mind. I have had the honor of reading another one of his books (of course, I've read them all) and his growth is unmatched. EJD still is and will probably stay one of the best male writers ever. In The Other Woman, EJD shows how a lovely home can be turned upside down. This book had me taking a look at my marriage and wondering if everything was as they seem. I could not put this marvelous book down. I cried when Freckles cried. I laughed when Freckles laughed. And if you've read the book, you would definitely know that I moaned when Freckles moaned. The book was one of the more serious books by EJD as was Milk... Serious issues were addressed, and although we may desire complete closure of the issues, life is not always that easy. Questions go unanswered and unasked. That's what makes this book so unique. You have to come to your own conclusions with his guidance. Again, this thought provoking book, is one of EJD's best and I'm sure he will only get better with time.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: This is a fast paced, edge of your seat, with a twist kind of book. I started reading this book, and I could not put it down. The characters are different and interesting. They will mesmerize you.

Hurry up and read this book, buy it and discuss in your book clubs, at the office, at home. Wherever you can because this book will be discussed for years to come. Like so many of EJD's books. This is my favorite so far!!
