Summary: Amazingly Funny!!!!!!!
Review: I am a Thirtteen year old girl and I read this book when I was 11. This is the best book I have ever read in my life! The words of the book touch your heart and and make you laugh for hours. This book is a wonderful choice for all readers!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A perfect gift!
Review: I kept stopping my kids everytime they passed through the room where I was reading to read them short excepts of the story, hoping they would laugh as hard as I was...now I just give this book to anyone that I think can use a good laugh or the joy of reading a wonderfully written book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful book, funny yet poignant.
Review: This book made me laugh so hard that tears rolled down my face. But in the next moment it would make me sob with heart break. The situations that our young heroine faces with humor and courage could have broken a weaker person's spirit. And not only does she survive; she thrives! I identified enormously with this testimony to humor as our saving grace in a crazy world.

Summary: Laugh out loud
Review: This book makes a person believe that anyone can overcome anything because somewhere, somehow, someday people will believe in one another and help one another get through life's trials and tribulations. The southern humor reflected here is remindful of Clyde Edgerton. Mattie from Walking Across Egypt should meed Daisy Fay; the conversations and situations they'd get into would be incredible. I laughed here as loud as I did when Mattie got stuck in that chair worrying about her dishes. I know these people, and I love them. Being from New Orleans, I have a firm belief in the excentricities of people, loveable with all their faults. Fanny Flagg is an insightful writer!

Summary: WONDERFUL!!
Review: I thought that this book was incredible!!! I would read it on the bus on my way to work, and laugh in uncontrolable bursts!! ( making my fellow riders look at me strangely). However, underlying this hilarious story is a serious and sometimes sad tale of a little girl growing up in a very dysfunctional family, and dysfunctional world....if this story were told by anyone but Ms. Flagg, it would be a sad.

Summary: A real belly laugh
Review: This is the funniest, and I mean funniest book I have ever read. My husband and I read aloud to each other while on vacation in the mountains. A roaring fire and much laughter. One of the best books ever! When, oh when, Fannie are you going to write more books?

Summary: The Perfect Remedy
Review: I read this book when I was 14, and I cracked up so many times I lost count. I lent it to many people, and they all found it to be a great read on a breezy summer day. You'll laugh so hard you want to cry. Flagg's ability to enter the mindset of a young Southern girl is refreshing and amazingly correct. Read this book if you're in a bad mood - I can guarantee it will have you feeling better in no time!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Laughed in the beginning-Shed tears of joy in the end.
Review: Daisy Fay is a wonderful hero and role model. She's 100% real. She's not thought of as pretty until she realizes she's beautiful. There's not a prejuidice bone in this girls body, and somehow she teaches others to accept those that are different. She's funny, talented, witty, and smart even though it takes some people awhile to see it. Add to that an eclectic cast of Southern charactars and you've got a winner. I love this book!!!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: I have read Daisy Fay about seven or eight times and each time it keeps getting better. I will be sitting around in my house and I'll think of something from the book and burst out laughing. It is the funniest book you will ever read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Buckle up! You'll fall over with laughter!!
Review: I read this book from front to back in one sitting. I could NOT put it down. I have never laughed so hard or enjoyed a book so much as this one. I would like to be more like Daisy Fay myself. With her imagination....nothing is impossible! Ms. Flagg should do a sequel!!
