Rating: Summary: All American Girl Review: This was a great book. Any of you that have read Meg Cabot's "Princess Diaries", I assure you, its not as gross.Samantha Madison lives in Washington DC with Lucy her popular cheerleader sister and Rebecca, an annoying genius. She's in love with her sisters boyfriend and ever since the "celebrity drawings" she has to take Susan Boone's art class. To top it all off, she saved the President of the United States from an assasination attempt. Now everyone thinks shes a hero. Her life definetly changes. She is appointed teen ambassador to the UN and she meets the presidents son-David. Who also happens to be VERY cute. This is a story where Samantha, or Sam learns how to truly "See" and learns about true love. I highly recommend it. A good book for teens. Its funny and touching. Read it!
Rating: Summary: Awesome book!!!! Review: I thought this book was a very good book. At most points I didn't want to put it down. I gave this book 4 stars because it was very good. What I didn't like about the book was how the narrarator told the story. I thought it was kind of difficult to read because I got confused in spots. Summary of the book: This girl really doesn't fit in at school, and she has a crush on her sisters boyfriend. Her punishment for selling her drawings at school is to go to an art class. There is where she saves the president life. The book just describes how she goes from a social outcast to the most popular girl in school, and how she deals with the publicity from saving the life of teh president.

Rating: Summary: An All-American Girl Review: Samantha Madison is a perfectly ordinary girl until she saves the president from an assassination attempt. She is named the teen ambassador to the U.N. and she also gets to go to dinner at the White House. At dinner Sam meets the president's son and they become friends. Gradually they become more than friends as they get to know each other. I like this book because Sam has a witty and sarcastic sense of humor and outlook on life. This is a good book if you don't like to read because you can become instantly hooked. You will have trouble putting it down because of the lively plot and interesting characters. I think that this book is a good pick for any teenager.
Rating: Summary: Another great book Review: If you liked the Princess Diaries.. you'll LOVE this book. It has the same type of writing except there is more to it.. not just a high school life but more then that. Actually I wish there is an AAG 2 coming soon!
Rating: Summary: I Love These Types of Books Review: Hey, I've read a lot of books and this is one of my favorites. I love how Samantha isn't perfect and makes mistakes. She's not the most popular girl in school and is (in a normal way) weird. This is a great book, the lists are hilarious, I strongly reccomend it.
Rating: Summary: Look else where Review: I'll just come out and say it, this book was terrible. Unlike the Princess Diaries, which I couldn't put down, I had to force myself to read this book. After such a long wait, I fount nothing but disappointment. Cabot tries to make Sam as likeable as Mia, but it doesn't work. Sam a weak, watered down, shadow of Mia, with a lot of black clothes to fill in the blanks. Mia could be you or a best friend. Sam is definitely the type of girl you trip in the hallway at school. She's that annoying. If you were a fan of the Princess Diaries, I'd advise waiting for the fourth volume instead of wasting money on this book. If curiosity gets the best of you, just check it out from the library.
Rating: Summary: American Girl Review: Have you ever read a good book? I have, its All American Girl by the author of the Princess Diaries, Meg Cabot. Its fiction. This book is in journal form and very easy to follow. This book has hilarious characters in it like herself Samantha, her sister Lucy and her parents. There are also some weird characters; the Bread Lady, the man with the BB gun and Jake the blind man. Samantha is in love with Gwen Staffina, a rock star. Samantha has a huge crush on her sisters boyfriend, Jake. Samantha is a very jealous teen, she's not a popular girl. Will that change? Read the book to find out. Samantha becomes teen ambassador to the United Nations and the presidents son has a crush on her. What is Samantha to do? When I read this excerpt form the book I had a visual picture of what Samantha looked like; "I saw a delicately featured girl with no freckles in a purple-white cheerleader uniform, her own bright red hair completely under control and only curling softly where it tumbled down form a barrette." All American Girl by Meg Cabot page 33. This book is nothing like the Princess Diaries or should it be compared to it. Meg Cabot is a wonderful author. I hope you read this book.
Rating: Summary: THE ALL AMERICAN GIRL Review: My name is Saba, I'm 11 years old and I like to read a lot. This book was ok, althoguh most kids can't relate. I like the fact that it was a diary. I like diaries a lot. But this isn't a book that I injoyed as much as I did Meg Cabots other books. Although you can't really relate to those books either. It is still a great book!! I really liked it :)
