Review: I have finished this book a few months ago and I thought that it was one of the best books! Samantha Madison is a great charicter and you can totally relate to her and her lifestyle! I wont say a WORD about this book because I don't want to give anything away, but i'm telling you...BY THE COVER, YOU CAN TELL THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!! Also don't forget to read ANY of Meg Cabot's books!! She is a genious and my idol! Go to ...!!! but read this book! It's great!

Review: All-American Girl was a fantastic book! I love Meg Cabot's books, but towards the last Princess Diaries book, it was getting a bit old. This book is full of laughs! I could not put it down. It is great if you just need a laugh. The main character, Samantha, doesn't really fit in anywhere and is constantly annoyed with her two perfect sisters. Then, when she is supposed to be in drawing class one day, a guy tries to shoot the president...but Sam jumps on him... and saves the president's life! From there, her life is filled with surprises she never would have dreamed of. All-American Girl is definitely something you should read!

Review: The main character is Samantha Madison who is a sophomore in high school, likes to draw, has wild red hair, and only wears black. Her older sister Lucy is the most popular girl in school and always looks perfect. Their younger sister Rebecca is a certified genius. Jack is Lucy's boyfriend and he likes to draw too. Samantha thinks he is the best artist ever and happens to be in love with him. David is the president's son, and he also likes to draw. This modern day story takes place during the fall in Washington, D. C. Samantha drew pictures during German class, which she hates, and her parents found out. Since she likes drawing so much, her parents force her to take art classes. The first class she went to, she sat next to a boy who dressed a lot like her. But she thought she was too good to be in the classes. She ditched instead of going to the next class and went to the music store next door. She saw a man and he was messing around with something inside his poncho. When she walked out of the music store the guy pulled out a gun and pointed it right at the President of the United States! He shot but Sam jumped on him. She saved the life of the President! After that her whole life changed. She was even appointed teen ambassador to the UN. When she goes to the White House she meets the president's son. He is the guy from the art class! I really liked this book. I think it was cool that a normal girl who likes to draw saved the president's life. I would recommend this book to girls who are ten years or older.

Review: This book was so good I read it in one day! It simply steals the heart of everyone. Ussually, I don't read books about love, but I heard from school this book was sooo good, I HAD to make an exeption! It was great! READ IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Review: This book is really good! It had romance and makes you laugh at times. I you start to feel that you are the people in the story. I read it all in a day it was so good. Meg cabot is a fabulous writer! If you like this book i would recommend "haunted", also my Meg Cabot!

Summary: Comments from a D.C. native
Review: Meg Cabot has written another wonderfully funny book. While it follows the same format as The Princess Diaries books, it still retained its ability to get laughs from the reader.
But being from D.C., I had some serious problems with her inaccuracies. It was quite evident that the author had never lived in D.C., nor actually bothered to try to make accurate references. It annoyed me so much that as I was reading the book, I wrote down a list of errors. So, here is my list.
1. People: Cabot protrayed people who live in D.C. as mostly being upper class, but actually, most of the nice houses and neighborhoods tend to be full of embassies and branches of embassies that can easily be mistaken for houses. Most other houses are owned by politicians. Well off families with children generally do not live in the actual city, but in the suburbs.
2. Schools: People who can afford to go to private or peroquial schools.
3. Culture/Music:
A-Guys, at least not the ones I know, do NOT listen to Gwen Stefani
B-Rock music is NOT that popular;Rap and R&B dominate in the city itself

Summary: Sam! I mean, Mia! I mean, Sam.....
Review: I have all the four Princess Diaries books (they're published in Britain, with cooler covers). So you can say I'm quite a fan of Ms. Cabot. Ok, of course I'm going to praise this book. It's a fun book, and a funny book too. I like all the jokes Ms Cabot posed here. I giggle to myself when those bits come up. Those art advices are good information. I love David too.
But I have to say, sometimes I thought I was reading Mia's diary instead(even though Mia's a vegetarian, Greenpeace-loving loveable airhead and Sam's a depressed, meat-loving, artsy airhead), complete with the top ten lists.
The starting and middle part of the story were quite dragging. Especially the parts where Sam saw the reporters. They sounded more like they're from descriptive school compositions. It's typical of Ms. Cabot to rush all the good parts into the end. I guess she wanted us to have a frisson.
What annoyed me most was the number of times the term "free world" is mentioned. Yeah, yeah, America is a free country, allowing its citizens to be free and outspoken. No need to push it. It's already known. Perhaps Ms. Cabot is only patriotic.
ok, I may have been a bad critic, but I enjoyed it, enough to get engrossed.

Review: I was a little sceptical about reading this book at first... i mean c'mon. A teenage girl saving the life of the president?
But I'm not sorry at all that I read it. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. It has good humor and it's very entertaining. If you liked the Princess Diaries, you'll like this book.

Summary: Truely for and "All American Girl"
Review: This book is great to uplift a girl's spirits! It is about a girl who doesn't really fit in, but suddenly does (I won't give the story away!). This is just a classic tale of a nobody who turns into somebody!
