Rating: Summary: wonderful book, very well written Review: This book is so unlike Ms McMillian previous books. This one has a plot, it makes sense. The story line is not predictable, it is wonderful and suspenseful. I read the book in three days, once I started reading it, it was hard to put it down.
Rating: Summary: OK book, not the author's best work! Review: This book was an "ok read", but not the page-turner, I had anticipated. After reading her other novels, I expected more from this author. The plot seemed a little unrealistic and does life always have to be about a happy ending? What's going on with the IR twists in the as of late book(s)? All and all, it was an "ok read."
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: This book was great. I can't wait for Rosalyn McMillan's next novel. She is one of my favorite authors. My Favorite Chracters were Kahn and Thyme. And those men, boy were they some slick characters. It was such a good book I could hardly put it down once I started reading it.
Rating: Summary: Informative Handbook Review: This book was more like an informative handbook at times, schooling readers on the ups and downs of working in the auto industry. The manipultive things going on were relative of just about any job and to that I could relate. I didn't like how the author jumped from a variety of characters. It was confusing at times and caused the book to lose focus. There was just too much going on, I guess. In any case, Rosalyn has a magical way of keeping readers interested in a book that if was written by anyone else would be a total flop.
Rating: Summary: Not very good... Review: This book was not very good at all. I'm sorry but I couldn't get with these soap opera characters. The characters constantly behaved in ways that were totally unrealistic. I know she was trying to give the book an international feel, but she failed in this respect also. I hate to sound so critical but this book was recommended to me and I was highly disappointed. On the positive side, the sex scenes (and there were lots of them) were wickedly good.
Rating: Summary: Nice Review: This is the first I've read of Ms. Rosalyn's works and I enjoyed it. The beginning was kinda slow and it was hard to get over the long details of what goes on in an automobile industry, but it slowly picked up the pace and flowed nicely. However, I kept wondering what R.C. and Tomiko's story had to do with anything besides the fact that R.C. used to work for Sydney and used to screw Khan. It was good to know about the man Khan was so head-over-hills in love/lust with but I didn't feel a story of his own was needed; it was just a thin-lined connection to everyone else's. Also, I felt that the murder of Luella over some mere overtime hours wasn't believable. Overall, it was a pretty good read and I will pick up her previous and future works. You go Ms. McMillan!

Rating: Summary: Disappointed, Again! Review: This is the second book that I have read by Ms. McMillan and again I must say I was disappointed. When I am reading for enjoyment it shouldn't take me two months to read a book. I like to finish a book when I start it and sometimes this is a difficult task with her books. Ms. McMillan is a very descriptive writer, sometimes using a paragraph or two to describe someone or something, but I find that it tends to interfere with the storyline. I think her books would be a lot better and easier to enjoy without so much flowery writing. As for the storyline, I found this one to be a little more interesting than her last book but in the end everyone basically came out okay except for Luella, of course.
Rating: Summary: AN IMPROVEMEMT Review: THIS IS THE THIRD BOOK I HAVE READ OF MS MCMILLIAN'S AND I FOUND IT TO BE A GREAT IMPROVEMENT FROM THE PREVIOUS BOOKS. THIS BOOK HAD AN REALISTIC PLOT THAT ONE COULD FOLLOW. SHE ALSO SEEMED TO DEVELOP HER CHARACTERS MORE. ALSO THERE WAS LESS GRAPHIC SEX SCENES WHICH WAS REFRESHING! HOWEVER I THINK THE AUTHOR COULD HAVE LET US USE OUR IMAGINATION CONCERNING THE SEX SCENES. HOPEFULLY HER NEXT BOOK WILL BE MUCH BETTER.
Rating: Summary: AN INFORMATIVE NOVEL WITH MANY DRAMATIC TWISTS Review: THIS NOVEL WAS TRULY A PAGE-TURNER. I COULD HARDLY PUT IT DOWN. THE CHARACTERS AND THEIR SITUATIONS WERE TRUE TO LIFE. MS. MCMILLAN'S CHARACTERS ALWAYS HAVE A TOUCH OF MYSTERY AS WELL AS DRAMA. FROM KAHN TO THYME TO LUELLA TO TINO, THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENT WHILE READING THIS NOVEL. ALTHOUGH THIS IS FICTION, I PRESUME THAT THE SITUATIONS IN THE AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY ARE VERY REAL, E.G. THE VIOLENCE, RACISM, AND OVERTIME CONFLICTS. THIS IS TRULY A GREAT READ!
